The ginormous doors of Hastinapur parted and Subhadra , the queen of Indraprastha drew the curtains of her palaquin and gazed at the erect elephant statues on the way to the palace.

She was absorbed in her thoughts when Arjun gave his hand to Subhadra indicating her to get down.

She got down of the palaquin and adjusted her saree and looked at the queen of Hastinapur waiting to welcome them along with King Dridharashtra. Arjun went and greeted both of them as Subhadra bowed down and touched the feet of the king and the queen.

Gandhari- Saubhagyavati bhava putri. U r far more beautiful than I heard from my son. I was excited to have u as my daughter in law but destiny had its own plans.

Subhadra just smiled at her remark although she was a little uncomfortable.

Arjun sensed his wife's discomfort and fright and made his way to his wife departing from the king of Hastinapur.

Just then Shakuni and Duryodhana entered.

Shakuni- I guess we r late?

Duryodhana- A lil mamashree...but I don't think anyone missed us...King Arjun doesn't like me already...
Said Duryodhana mockingly.

Arjun smirked, folded his hands and replied

Arjun- My actions justify my observations. I hope u r still not enraged that I captivated u along with my father in low and abducted ur would be wife.

Duryodhana just smiled and turned his eyes towards Subhadra and scanned her lustfully.

Arjun's eyes turned red and his rage reached it's topmost level. His hands formed a fist but he took a deep breath and wrapped his hands around Subhadra's waist .

Duryodhana- Pranipat Subhadra...oh I m so sorry Maharani... U look so thin and weak...doesn't ur husband take good care of u...but ur beauty still has no bounds.

Subhadra- It's nothing like that Rajkumar....I am fit and fine.

Arjun gazed with anger when his eyes shifted on Shakuni who was tending his moustache and displaying a wicked smile.

Gandhari- R u all going to speak here itself...let's move inside....and Arjun and Subhadra need rest... let's go.

Saying this Gandhari was about to hold Subhadra's arms when Arjun interrupted.

Arjun- Let me assist my wife Maharani...I need to show some folks how much I care about my wife. And how much of a perfect suitor am I for the most beautiful princess in the whole Aryavart.

Gandhari- Ofcourse Maharaj.

Duryodhana understood that the sarcasm concerned him and looked towards Shakuni who gave him a sign to be patient and careful.

All of them moved inside and Gandhari directed the royal couple of Indraprastha to the guest room.
