JC looks at me and purses his lips. The lawyer chuckles, and shakes his head. "You son of a-" he says. "Mr. Lawley was Amanda's corespondent for the case." He says. "There will be no divorce, unless Amanda wants one. You will be put on trial, to see if the abuse is actual abuse." JC nods, and the lawyer goes on to say how JC is going to have to stay away from me for a month, and the kids can't see him either. "I want to drop the charges." I say with tears in my eyes. JC smiles.
