Their theory with the baseball bat had led them to another dead end and Clarissa couldn't help but feel like that had been their life for the past three months. Endless dead end after dead end with bringing Theo home and now with finding whoever had been taken from them.

She had been surprised that Lydia's mother hadn't tracked them down to scold them for their stunt in their math class but from what she had heard, Corey and Mason had gone to talk to the woman and ended up irritating her.

The three supernatural teenage girls had worked well together. It had been an unlikely team up but even Lydia was surprised that Malia and Clarissa were putting aside their differences to work together.

Mason had come to find her and was shocked to see that Clarissa had even laughed at a joke that the werecoyote had said during their time in the abandoned classroom looking for answers. She had heard about it the entire way to the locker room to see Liam. She hadn't been entirely sure why Mason had dragged her there, but she had noticed the way that Liam's expression had soured the moment that she had followed behind him into the room.

"Why am I here again?" Clarissa asked the younger teenager as she leaned against one of the lockers, eyeing Liam's sour expression as he put up his lacrosse gear. They had been civil in New Orleans, but it seemed that the civility had ended once they had stepped back in Beacon Hills and Scott McCall had gotten into Liam's head. "I have more important things to deal with. Including locating my brother who has mysteriously disappeared."

Clarissa didn't look to the side of the room where she knew that Corey was hiding. If he wanted to keep an eye on his boyfriend, it wasn't her business. She knew that Delcan had gone with Brett to try and talk to Evelyn about the Ghost Riders again. She just didn't understand why her other brother felt the need to hide from Liam. She wondered if there was trouble between the two men that she wasn't aware of.

"You said that you have gaps in your memory, which means that you could have known the person they had taken." Mason declared in exasperation, he had gone over his theory multiple times and Clarissa was starting to get fed up with sitting there waiting for Liam to actually listen to his best friend. The younger boy was more content with focusing on lacrosse than another supernatural problem that they were facing. "They must have had someone up there. I mean, that's the only logical explanation."

"Yeah." Liam declared in disinterest, staring down at his lacrosse glove that he had been messing around with since they had come into the locker room. "How do you know?"

"Logic." Mason glanced between Clarissa and Liam once again, his expression filled with hesitation as he noticed the fire in her eyes as she looked at the younger werewolf. "And Corey has a hunch."

Clarissa straightened her body as she noticed the displeased expression that crossed Liam's face as Mason mentioned her brother. Something was definitely up between the two teenagers and she had felt bad that Corey felt like he couldn't come talk to her about the issue. It wasn't her place to get involved but she had hoped that he would have trusted her enough to tell her when something was bothering him.

"What? Is that a chameleon thing?" Liam questioned his best friend with a scoff and Clarissa narrowed her eyes as she noticed the scent of subtle hurt that had wafted from the direction that her brother was hiding in. "I thought all they could do was disappear."

"Watch it." Clarissa warned the werewolf firmly, her fingers tapping against her thigh as she subtly darted her eyes towards where Corey was hiding. She knew that Corey had always felt like he was invisible, even before the transformation that had made him a chimera. It had been a sore subject for him and Clarissa had always made sure that he knew that he was important and visible to her. Even Mason had been blind to the boy before but now he knew how much it had hurt her brother to feel like no one could truly see him. "That's my brother you're talking about."
