"We're going to find a way to save you. I won't let you die."

Clarissa Bane felt like she was floating on air even though she knew for a fact that she had collapsed on the floor of the animal clinic. She wasn't sure what happened after that, but she knew that something had changed when she had sliced her finger open and attempted to draw in more energy.

Magic was something that she was still learning about, but she knew enough to realize that drawing in a source of energy that crackled like lightning would have repercussions in the end. She could feel it pulsating in her veins and it was lighting a fire down every nerve of her being. Her mind was splitting in half, a harsh battle between trying to remember and the magic that made her forget this Stiles person.

She had lost people before.

She had lost Allison and she had lost her parents. She had lost Erica, Paige, Josh, Tara, and Boyd. Clarissa had even lost Corey briefly. Unfortunately, those were the people that had passed from the supernatural. If she counted the people that had left town like Ethan, Isaac, and Jackson, which she did, her total loss would be overwhelming. She was tired of losing people and she refused to lose someone else even if she couldn't remember him.

"Clarissa lost Allison too, Scott. We all lost her. The guilt that's eating me alive because of the monster that was wearing my face is probably nothing compared to hers because Alli pushed her out of the way. Go easy on her for a while."

He was important to her, that much she knew. She was sure that this man was someone that she valued and loved. The voice that was ringing in her head was soothing and she couldn't help but realize that maybe this Stiles person knew her better than herself. He was someone that Lydia Martin loved and that was enough to make her decision for her to attempt to forge a connection to the person that they had all forgotten.

Lydia Martin had loved Jackson. Clarissa had been around the pair for years when they had dated and seen enough to know that her friends had cared about each other. Jackson had done some awful things and Lydia had become someone that she wasn't to please the boy, but she had cared.

Even after Jackson had become a werewolf, Lydia had gone with Clarissa to help move their friend to London. Years of friendship had ensured that there would be no bad blood between the three after the mutual break up and Lydia had been ecstatic after she had learned that Jackson had moved on with Ethan. Both girls still loved Jackson Whittemore and Clarissa knew that Jackson would always be Lydia's first love.

This person that was missing though, this Stiles, was someone that Clarissa could see that Lydia loved deeply. She had seen that lost look in her eye and she had seen that even though Lydia couldn't remember him, she loved him so deeply that it almost hurt to not be with him.

This Stiles person was Lydia Martin's epic love and Clarissa Bane would do whatever it took to ensure that Lydia would be reunited with him. Lydia had come with her to New Orleans to bring Theo back and while she was still bitter about the event that took him from her, she knew that Lydia wanted Clarissa to be happy as well.

"You're the Leia to my Luke."

The voice was soothing in her mind, a brief reprieve from the splitting headache that was causing her pain. She could have listened to the voice all day, but she knew that she needed to attempt to locate the boy that was speaking.

Her eyes fluttered open and she was shocked to see that she was still in the animal clinic. The building was cast in a greenish glow that made her stomach roll and that sensation intensified as Clarissa Bane pushed her body up. Her eyes roamed over her surroundings and her expression turned into one of horror as she noticed her own face staring up at her on the floor.
