"How dare you!" Zimbwea growled. Claw was staring at her with fire burning in his eyes. "Look at daddy's little girl. She thinks she can handle it. Ha! Such a pity." Claw leaped at her thrashing his fore paws in the air. Zimbwea dodge and barged at him letting her whole body crush him. He yelped throwing her off. "Maybe next time you should exit the camp more silently." Zimbwea spat. She leaped at Claw giving him a blow to the belly making him run away. "This isnt the las-" Claw stopped. "Oh just shut up and go away!" Zimbwea snapped.

Zimbwea slowly dragged her paws near Jalon. "Oh man. I couldn't save you" She whimpered tears falling down her face. "I'm s-s-o sorry" Her voice sounded as if she had hiccups. A single tear dropped onto Jalon's back. It formed into the shape of a star.
Swoosh!

Jalon was floating! Zimbwea backed up in astonishment, eyes glowing. Soon StarPride figures swarmed around Jalon. He was being healed! His body became a muscle form again and his breathing became smooth. Jalon's small mane became smooth and clean. A large lion walked to her. "I saved your pride mate. Now you must save my grandson." He said. Zimbwea's eyes flashed. Mufasa. "Mufasa!" She yelped. Mufasa disappeared leaving Jalon to softly land on the ground. He was breathing heavily. Jalon turned around "Zimbwea!" Jalon looked happy. "You saved me".

"You've been a friend of mine for the number of stars!" Zimbwea dipped her head. Jalon bowed back. "Wait how did you know I saved you?" She asked. Jalon scratched his head " Well Ya see I kinda was dead. B-but I was watching you!" He paused "Your tears! There like magic!" Jalon finished.
"Heh. I was born under the rising sun."

The next morning Zimbwea ran into Arty and Kalamba. Kalamba was panting "Zimbwea where have you been?!" Arty cuffed him "She was sleeping!"

"Oh right"

"Zimbwea we had a weird dream last night" Arty exclaimed. "Ya! There was a male lion walking near the canyon we passed through on our way to pride rock. And something said "His blood still runs through the savanna"?" Kalamba sounded confused.

Wait! These are dreams I've had! And Mufasa said I need to save his grandson! This is what he meant! Zimbwea thought.
"Guys we need to talk" She pointed towards a hollow spot under a rock. They all squeezed under making themselves comfy to listen. "You know how when we were little news spread saying a cub was murdered?" Zimbwea asked. Arty and Kalamba nodded.
"Well he isn't dead. He is the son of Simba! Kopa fears when he comes back Zira will actually kill him this time"

"Who's Zira" Arty asked.

"She is the mother of Kovu, and wife of the killer; Scar" Kalamba said with a taunting voice. Arty shivered "The evil murderer of the stories?". Zimbwea could remember how the eldest of the lions told her Scar would come back and take her away if she ate more than she needed.

"Listen, what I'm trying to get through here is that we are old enough to venture together. We need to find Kopa" she gulped.

"I'm always in Zimbwea!" Kalamba said with pride. Arty nodded with uncertainty but than answered "Ok I'm in" she smiled.

The next morning Zimbwea had asked her father if she could go.
"I trust you Zimbwea. Just please be careful" Gahsu had answered with confidence. "I'll promise you; I will come back with the gratitude of Simba." she said proudly.

"Goodbye my dearest" Akali was giving Zimbwea herbs for her journey. She set them in a banana leaf like a pocket. Akali kissed her on the head and sat next to Gahsu.

"I promise I'll be careful. Don't worry I'll groom myself everyday" Kalamba was yelling over his shoulder to his mom. Arty walked away from the nursery saying goodbye to her adopted mother.
Gahsu roared signaling a meeting. Lions gathered around Healing Rock. "Our three brave warriors have accepted a quest of a life time." his roar echoed "They will be saving a lost prince; Prince Kopa lives". Lions roared in happiness. "Farewell journeyers and may your quest be accomplished" Gahsu said. Lions said farewell and dipped there heads.

Zimbwea padded out of the camp and stopped. She looked from side to side smiling. Kalamba and Arty smiled back with hope.

Kalamba pointed to the open land with his paws "Let us begin".
