Chaeyoung's POV

The party was at one of the local cafes. It had a large stage and the seniors had rented out the entire place.
I came to the place by myself because Namjoon was driving with Tzuyu and Jungkook was going by himself too.
I walked inside the cafe and I gotta say it was amazing! There bright yellow and pink lights flashing all around and people crowded the area. They were all seniors so I knew almost all of them. The girls were wearing pretty dresses and the boys were wearing either suits or nice shirts with jeans. I decided to wear one of my pink dresses. It was silky and shiny so I curled my hair to match the uniqueness.
I looked around for my friend group until I finally saw them dancing around to the music.
Jungkook was the first to see me and he smiled. He was going to be on stage so he was wearing a dark blue suit and his hair was smoothed back to he would look stunning. Usually his hair was long and wavy but also messy.
"Hey Chae!" He wrapped his arm around my shoulder, "that's a nice dress!"
"Why thank you!" I smirk back.
Then I saw Tzuyu and Namjoon. Tzuyu was wearing a elegant purple dress that reached just below her knees. Her hair was wavy and long and beautiful. Namjoon was wearing a button up blue shirt and pants. He was also stunning as always. Then there was Sana, wearing a peach colored dress, matching her hair. And Mina was wearing black skirt and a dark purple shirt with pink pock-a dots. And Yoongi was wearing a dark green suit with a little bow tie matching the color. And Hoseok was wearing similar. A green suit. Except it was more bright and colorful.
"Hi guys!" I wave, "was I late?"
"Not that late." Namjoon checked his watch, "just a lot of people are early."
"Ok. When are you singing JK?" I ask.
"After dinner." He smiled, "we're having steak and fries."
"Mmm." I rubbed my stomach, "I am literally so hungry!"
"Me too." Everyone agreed.
Just everyone in the class was there. There was no body I didn't see. All the new kids. All the cheerleaders. Even stupid Hyujin is here. But I guess he is a senior too. He is with his sister, Yegi.
"They should start~" Tzuyu started but was interrupted.
"Ok everyone!" A speaker came on the stage. It was our class president Hirai Momo, "now since most everyone is here, we will start the food and drinks. Take your seats everyone! And after dinner you can continue to hang out!"
Everyone cheered as the all went out to find their seats.
Luckily the eight of us were able to find a table together in front of the stage so we can see all the singers.
       Suddenly when everything got quieter a different voice came onto the speaker. And it was familiar. Very familiar.
       Seriously!
       "Hello children!" My stupid annoying older brother Jimin sang into the Mic, "you might not know who I am but I used to be a senior at this school! But of course! I got invited to this party! So today ladies and gentlemen! We have a total of seven different performances tonight. Ands it's all students in this very class! But for now while the waiters are getting your orders, I will be the first performance! But I will also be singing with my two sisters!"
       "What?!" Tzuyu, who was sitting next to me turned and louder whispered.
       I don't even have time to process this!
       I glare at Jimin who was looking directly at me, "seriously." I mouth.
       "Oh come on! Don't be shy Chaeyoung!" He called my name out. So of course, everyone stares at me.
     I feel the sting of so many eyes staring at me. I don't really have a choice anymore.
     I love singing. But I've never sang in front of anyone. Except for Jungkook and my siblings.
     Suddenly as I slowly and hesitantly stand up my older sister Jeongyeon puts her hand on my shoulder, "you'll thank us later." She whispered and pulled me up on stage.
      I could feel my face heating up seeing everyone staring at me. But I also saw all my friends smiling at me and giving me thumbs up.
      I've never sang in front of anyone. I've always wanted to for so long. But I've always been afraid. I guess the time to do that is now.
     Suddenly the song, 'Dynamite' comes on.
     My siblings know me too well.
     Once one of my favorite songs come on, I smile and begin singing with Jimin and Jeongyeon.
     This isn't too bad. I kind of enjoy this!
    I continued to sing my heart out and slowly the fear fades away looking around at my supporting friends.
     Finally, the song stops and all I can see is the blinding spotlight.
     I did it! I really did it!
     Everyone starts clapping for us and I smile the brightest smile in the world. I felt accomplished with myself.
     
     "What the heck Chae!!!" Tzuyu yelled in my face, "how come you never told us you can sing!!!"
     I shrug looking like the happiest person in the world.
    "I already knew." Jungkook bragged and winked at me.
    "That was awesome!" Both Sana and Hoseok congratulated.
     "Okay. Okay. That was so unexpected!" I say, "but did somebody order my food because I'm starving!"
     "Of course!" Tzuyu nodded.
