Lisa's gleeful voice was like a trumpet call of her arrival to the dojo. Since I still wasn't feeling well, I stayed in my room on the living quarters of the house. Aden had brought me over here so that I could lay down.

When the door to my room slid open, Lisa, followed by Aden, entered. Her bright eyes lit up at the sight of me and she squealed in the back of her throat. Her arms engulfed me in a constricting hug that reminded me of a boa constrictor. On the floor next to me, she had dropped the shopping bag that held the contents I needed.

"I haven't hung out with you in forever girl. Why don't you invite me over much anymore?" A grin decorated my face.

"Cause I don't want you to give me a reason to hurt Mr. Teddy. He did nothing wrong to deserve my wrath." She pulled back and gasped, her finger pointing at me accusingly.

"Don't you ever hurt him Sara. I told you that one-hundred times before and I will tell you again. Don't ever lay a kung-fu finger on him." Silence met the room. A moment later all three of us broke the silence by letting our laughter erupt throughout the house. My brother decided that now would be the perfect moment to grace us with his presence.

"What is the party about and why wasn't I invited?" He clapped a hand onto Aden's shoulder in a male-like gesture and waited for the rest of us to laugh. However, I had things I still needed to do.

"Hey John. Sorry to bother you like this but could you and Aden hang out in the dojo for about thirty-minutes. Lisa and I need to talk." The boys looked at one another and at me.

"Um, sure little sis. I guess I can baby-sit your boyfriend for half an hour." I rolled my eyes and my best friend giggled. Aden looked horrified at being called a baby.

"Hey. I'm eighteen you-" He didn't get to finish. John took one of his big arms and draped it over Aden's shoulders and steered him out of my room.

"Have fun girls." Lisa, who has a major crush on my brother responded quickly.

"We will." The door closed and their foot steps disappeared before I threw off my covers and darted for the bag.

"Did you get what I asked for?" I opened the bag faster than I had anything in my life. The blonde responded in a hushed and urgent tone.

"Of course. Three genuine pregnancy tests of the best quality at the local store. And just to be on the safe side, they are all different brands." I pulled out each one and read the packaging. The bottom line for all of them was a plus sign (+) for positive and a negative sign (-) for negative. Simple and easy.

"Guard the door. No one allowed in unless I say so," I commanded and she mock-saluted me as I rushed to the bathroom, all three tests in hand.

"Lisa, I think senior year sucks, don't you?" I asked. We were waiting for the results and to pass the time we decided to talk about school.

"Hey, with only four months of school left, it can't get any harder than applying for colleges." Man was that ever true. I hated applying. It was like rocket science.

"Has it been ten minutes yet?" She asked me. I glanced at the clock on my desk.

"Two more minutes." I could practically hear the distressed screams from our mouths from the frustration of waiting. This was my future. This would be Aden and I's future. I hope I didn't ruin his plans.

What does a werewolf do for work anyways?

"Maybe it will already be there and it just makes us wait to taunt us into thinking it takes ten minutes?" I looked at her, then at my bathroom door.

"I am starting to understand your madness Lisa. Something is definitely up with the people making us wait." We snickered to ourselves for a few moments before silencing again and staring at my small clock.

"Thirty seconds." I counted down in my head and waited for the little number to change. This could be the straw that broke the camel's back. The silver in the wolf's paw. The... unborn child within me.

"Ten seconds," Lisa said, excitement laced in her words. I shushed her. Tick, tick, tick, tick....

"GO!" Almost tripping over each other, we ran to the bathroom and ran up to the sink where all three of the tests laid.

I looked down, took a deep breath, and looked at the symbols that may or may not change Aden and I's life forever.
