*Timeskip to two months later*

"Are you sure you don't want to go on a mission, Levy?" Jet hovered above me asking the same question he asked ever other week. I shook my head in response.

They knew not to bother me when I told them my answer so they let it be. "We'll see you later then, alright?" I nodded as I watched my old teammates leave the guild. I don't know why I ever came back to Fairy Tail. It's not like I do anything special. I just sit around and read or watch people come and go.

A big breath came out from my nostrils as I grew frustrated with myself.

"Are you okay, Levy?" Mira stood above me, a small smile playing on her face. "Sorry to bother you, but I was just curious."

I leaned by against my seat and tossed my hand up as if saying, eh. She came to sit across from me, but seemed like she wanted to ask me something.

"Listen, I know you don't want to do job requests right now, but it could help. There's a mission that would be perfect for you. It's a two person job though. I thought you and Gajeel could do it." I wasn't aware of Gajeel's presence right behind me until he turned around at the mention of his name.

"You talking about me?" He was chewing on a piece of iron with his arm on the back rim of the chair.

"I thought maybe you two would like to go on a job? It seems perfect for the two of you with your magics."

"Lemme see it." Mira had a piece of paper on her hands and handed it to Gajeel. He read through it then gave it to me. "Seems alright. I'm down for it."

As I read through it, it seemed to be hard but no too challenging at least. I handed the paper back to Mira and they both looked at me waiting for my answer. It would be good to get out and start working again, so I simply nodded.

Mira seemed happy at my response as she got up and started clapping her hands together. "You'll be just great. You both will." Then she left the two of us there watching her run off to tell the others. It wasn't that big of a deal, was it?

"Yo squirt, you sure you want to do this?" I looked back at him with an annoyed look on my face. He knows how much I get annoyed with that nickname, but that's why he calls me that a lot. Plus, half the time he gets a good laugh out of it.

I shrugged as if to say, why not?

"Alright then. According to the paper it'll take over a week. Huh, and it's supposed to be simple," he said. "You hungry," he asked me. I shook my head. "Alright then. I'll meet up with you later at the guild." He got up from his chair and started walking out the door, leaving me alone.

I got tired pretty soon and decided to head home before I would have to leave. I gathered my belongings I brought with me in my arms and headed out the door like I watched so many people do.

Two months had gone by without me doing anything at all for the guild. I haven't done any missions or requests. I only sat down and never talked due to my mutism. I didn't want to talk to them at times anyways. Not like they're bad people, I was just not in the mood.

The evening sun started to set in the sky as I laid down on my bed. I didn't want to say it in my head but my mind kept thinking it. A bad feeling set in my stomach as time went on. I had a bad feeling about this upcoming mission for me and Gajeel.

I didn't want to be rushed so before I could take a short nap I packed my things for the mission. It didn't take long considering that I didn't need much stuff. Once I finished I plopped back down on my bed and focused on my breathing.

This might be the last time I would see my bed. Maybe not. You'll never know what these missions will bring. Always expect the unexpected.
