That evening he did the homework which was easy, than for over two hours he worked out. His routine consisted of both physical strength such as weight lifting and sit ups, while his gymnastics routines was mostly practicing his acrobatics. After he ate he took out his crystal ball and finally laid down on his bed again, he activated it and started watching one of his favourite recordings, a human cartoon called Amphibia. Before the portal was destroyed he had learns how to access human world broadcasts and watch them, but now he only had the ones he had the foresight to save. This was a good one though but it did little to distract him from the events of the day.

He managed to get some sleep, but not all that much. He woke up early, took his daily potion he had started taking a month previous, and snuck out to train with his palisman. He had learned that with the little cardinal he could preform small feats of magic such as levitating small objects and doing basic elemental spells, but what he was most happy about was he could fly on it, because the thought occurred to him that as a punishment at some point his uncle may take his staff away and having a backup that can fly could be important.

He snuck back in and worked on a little project he had thought of before he had to get ready for school. When the sun was much higher he stopped his work, bathed, got dressed, ate some food the coven leader's assistant had made, and headed out for his second day of school.

Classes went as they did they did before, easy and not worth his time. He knew he should be talking up Barkus more but his mind was stuck of the Blight boy. He hadn't realized it as they walked, but after Edric asked him out it finally occurred to him that what he was feeling was attraction, that he like Edric. This was unfamiliar territory for him as constantly being surrounded by only adults meant he never really knew anyone his age since he was 10, and therefore never experienced a crush.

But he was certain Edric was just teasing him, he had long accepted the fact that his scars and tooth gap would never be considered attractive by others, the glasses he currently wore wouldn't help either, and if somehow someone managed to like him after all that there was no way they still would once they knew he was not born a boy.

Still, Edric continued to fill his thoughts, even when his last morning class ended and Luz was waiting for him outside his class.

"Hi, sorry for abandoning you yesterday, I just did not feel like dealing with Boscha at that moment."

"How did you do that?"

"Invisibility glyph, only works if I hold my breath though, that's why I didn't respond when you called out to me."

"Oh, that is interesting, maybe you could show me?"

"Oh no, as long as you still work with Belos I am not willingly going to make you more powerful."

"Oh. Yeah that makes sense, you still don't trust me."

"I admit I think you have a good heart, but how could I fully trust someone willingly working for a guy who consumes innocent palisman and imprisons or petrifies anyone who simply doesn't fit in."

"I can't leave him, that would be treason, he's just trying to do what's best for everyone."

"Does terrorizing his people count as doing his best. Name one good thing he's done."

"He saved my life!"

Silence. After about a minute Hunter decided to clarify.

"When I was 10 my family was endangered by a wild chaos magic storm. My mother was like me, a powerless Witch, and my father was an illusionist. He was powerful but his spells were useless against the storm. We were trying to take shelter in our cellar, the storm kept pounding at the door. However the storm blew the door of its hinges, slamming into my parents and killing them, it was about to get me too when Belo came out of no where and put a magic shield around the two of us. Without him I would be dead right now. He saved my life and it's now my job to help save him."
