"Where would you be if you didn't get into UA?" Y/N asked, crossing her legs as she took a bite of her beef udon. Denki shrugged, stealing a thick noodle from her bowl, "I don't know, probably homeless or something. My parents both went to UA, so it's only natural that I did too. It was already being expected of me."
Y/N looked at him with disbelief, "Seriously? Getting into UA is a big accomplishment, and it was expected of you? How did you not crack under the pressure."
"With hard work," Denki grinned, doing a flawless Todoroki impression, "No but seriously, I did crack. A lot. I was really insecure and unstable when I was in Junior High. It got better after I was expected, and not everyone was a snob like I assumed," he stole another noodle, "What about you? Where would you be if you didn't get into UA?"
"Ketsubutsu," Y/N responded promptly, "I was accepted there and my childhood friend went there. We saw him at the Provisional License place. Shindo? Remember him?"
Denki groaned at the mention of his name, "Oh that prick? I hated him. He came up to me all friendly-like and started shaking my hand. How are you friends with that slime?"
"He's not that bad, actually," Y/N punched Denki's shoulder, "I wonder what it's like at Ketsubutsu and Shiketsu and all the other bigger hero schools of Japan."
"Let's find out one day!"

The two of them stood in front of the tall school. The sign said 'UA' and students were roaming about the campus.
"Sneaking into a school isn't as fun when you're practically undetectable, Kami," Y/N raised her eyebrow. The yellow-haired boy shushed her and slinked into the gate, beckoning her to follow him. The girl rolled her eyes, and followed her companion, simply just to humor him.
The grass inside of the campus was beautifully green, and a variety of trees swayed with the winds. Despite the day being fairly sunny, the atmosphere was gloomy. Every single student had some kind of bandage, or scar riddling their arms and faces. Their eyes were downcast, and many of them looked like they haven't slept in weeks.
"What is up with everyone," Y/N asked, staring at a sullen redhead with confusion. Denki shrugged, and approached the redhead. Beside him was a equally beaten looking ash-blond. Both had pointy hair and they both wore slings containing their arms.
They mumbled quietly about something. Denki bounced closer to listen.
His eyes widened once he heard what was being said. His hands dropped to his side, and he glanced at the girl with uncertainty. Y/N's eyes followed the two boys as they turned a corner.
"What has you looking like that?"
"The blond one," Denki uttered, "he said your name."
