The girl cautiously placed her upper body in the middle of the skateboard and planted her palms on the gravelly pavement.
"What do you think you'redoing?" the yellow-haired boy raised an eyebrow. His own skateboard was tucked between his arm and torso as they made their way to the UA skatepark.
"I'm gonna beat you to the skatepark," she said simply before heaving a push and shoving herself away from the sidewalk. She glided down the steep hill, wind whipping her hair back and stinging her eyes. She heard Denki shout something in the distance, but she couldn't make out what he said.
The exhilaration only grew as she grabbed the nose and turned it forcefully to the right, narrowly avoiding a sewer. She grinned as she heard the sound of Denki's board grow closer, before pushing herself off again, this time going even faster than she was before.
"You're not scared of falling?"
Denki was beside her, looking down on her with a surprised smile. Y/N shook her head, slowly paddling, trying to gain even more speed.
"We're here, idiot!"
Slamming her hands onto the gravel, she let out a shriek of pain as her palm dragged across the hot rocks. She slid to a stop, before rolling off the board and onto the ground with a groan, cupping her injured hands to her chest.
