~Fëlîx Pøv~

Alpha.

I'm the Alpha. Who does this muppet think he is?

An Alpha -hardly.

An Alpha doesn't let his pack roam freely.

An Alpha doesn't get pushed around by his pack. It's his pack.

An Alpha like him deserves all the destroying he gets.

Wait, does 'destroying' even fit in that sentence? I don't know and neither will anyone else. I'm the Alpha, they have no right in reading my thoughts! If they do, it's a death wish in just doing anything involving me.

"Alpha! Alpha! Alpha!" Debranna, the girl passed around the pack by the male population, waved and gave a sickening smile covered in red lipstick. Maybe she thinks red is sexy... Who am I kidding! It is.

Just not on her. Definitely on my mate though, wherever and whoever she is.

"What? I'm working." I spat whilst keeping my head low, trying to keep the disgust out of my voice as my eyes avoid looking at her outfit. Everyday, I swear she cuts a centimetre off her skirts and tops. A transparent pink top covers her bra only just; a denim skirt is raised high on her, hiding her panties by a little. Disgusted is what I am.

A girl should respect herself and her body, or how can anyone else respect her? I sure as hell don't. I never did when I saw her match pink with red. Even I know it clashes and I'm a guy. (What? Blame my sister).

I set the file back on my desk, eyeing the title in bold lettering before peeling my eyes away. Kertis Tryvont, Alpha of the RogueWolves pack. The strongest pack in the US. Mate and I will make our pack the strongest when we unite. We'll be stronger than Tryvont and his damned RougeWolves.

I looked at Debranna's patchy orange forehead. That red lipstick and that shade of orange definitely don't go.

Without looking at her whole face, I could tell she was pouting or, at least, pulling a whining brat face at me. Her forehead wrinkled and her drawn-on-way-too-dark-and-thick eyebrows scrunched up.

"I'm sorry, I was just wondering... Could you give me a ride to school tomorrow morning? Ya know, where it'll be just the two of us." Man, that's one hella annoying voice! How does her boyfriend manage with her? I mean, she throws herself around so carelessly (he knows it) and her voice -Jeez. Her. Voice. Like nails on a chalkboard.

"No, now get out of my office!" I growl. Some women in my pack are worse than her though and I'm talking 16 to 18 years older than that pubescent girl. 15 year olds shouldn't be doing that, especially her.

"But Alpha, we're in the kitchen."

I look around, my hands gripping the counter I thought was a desk tightly. The oven: check. The fridge: check. The toaster: check. The microwave: check. A random bowl full of ramen noodles: check. Yuck, dirty kitchen.

Damn, she's right.

Pack members stared at me, small smiles on their faces from my moment of stupidity and disgusted glares directed towards Debranna -I would be lying if I said I wasn't one of those disgusted glares. I growled and hopped off the bar seat, folding the file as I did.

"Shut up." I whined back, grumpy now (well, grumpier than I was before) and stalked out of the room.

Grumpy Alpha: check!
