Deena's Pov-
We drove back to my house. I'm still shocked that Sam yelled at her mom like that. I've never seen her like that.
We walk into the house.
"Hey Guys, How did it go?," Asked Kate.
"WOAH, What happened to your face Deena?" Asked Josh.
"We got in fights with different people," I explain.
"Deena punched a man for being rude and homophobic, She won of course." Sam says.
"And Sam yelled at her mom for being homophobic," I say. Sam raises her hand like she wants to high five. We high five.
Josh, Kate and Simon are Surprised.
"So overall good I guess." Sam says.
We all laugh.
"Okay, Josh did you pack," I ask.
"Yes," Josh replies.
"Kate and Simon do you guys wanna shop for more clothes?" Sam asks.
"Sure why not," Simon says.
Kate nods yes.
We all get into My car.
" You guys can wear hoodies so no one sees you while we are shopping," I say.
I hand them two hoodies. One is a white one that says nirvana and one is a hoodie that has tour dates of the beetles.
We arrive at the mall.....the famous mall. We all walk inside.

Sam's Pov-
Once I step in the mall I get goosebumps. There are kids running around everywhere. Adults drinking and eating, Teens smoking. and I see the tree. I just stand there.
"S-"
"Sam-"
"Sam," Says deena.
"What?" I ask.
"Are you okay," Deena asks me.
"Oh- Yeah I'm fine," I say. I keep walking.
Deena walks over to Kate and whispers and looks at me.
I look back, I can tell they are talking about me. Deena smiles at me. Kate starts walking over.
"Hey Blondie," Kate says.
"Hi," I exclaim.
"Wanna go shopping together?" Kate asks.
I Look at Deena. Deena nods. I almost can tell what she is thinking without her saying anything.
"Sure," I say.
Me and Kate walk into a store and start looking around.
"Everything is a little bit more scarier once you die and come back, huh" Kate comments
"What-, Oh yeah, I've gotten possessed and have died tell me about it," I laugh.
Kate Laughs. She holds up a dress to me. It's a green velvety dress.
"Hmmmm, what do you think," Kate asks.
"Wow, Yeah- I look pretty. Do you think Deena will like it?" I ask.
"Pfff," Kate scoffs," Deena Likes everything you do, she likes everything about you. So yes she will love it".
I go into the dressing room and try it on. I hear footsteps and whispers.
*Knock Knock*
"Milady," Deena says. She opens the dressing room and comes in and closes the dressing room.
She wraps her arms around my waist. She puts her head on my shoulder. I put my hands on her hands.
"Wow...." Deena says.
"Do you like it?" I ask.
She intertwines our hands. She spins me around and dips me. She stared into my soul.
"Yes," Deena says. She pulls me up from the dip and kisses me. I blush
" Where did you learn that move?" I ask.
"My dad," Deena smirks
"I bet you use it on every girl," I giggle.
She pulls me closer. She whispers into my ear, "Never, Have I ever had a girlfriend".
This makes me blush. "Never," I ask.
"Nope just you," Deena replies.
I change back into my clothes. Deena looks away.
We leave the dressing room.
Kate is waiting by the front of the store. I put the dress on the counter.
"Is this it," The cashier asks.
"Yes Please," I say.
Deena hands the money to the cashier. The Cashier looks at both of us. We are both smiling.
"Are you guys from Shadyside High school?" Asks the person.
"We were," I comment.
"Class of 1997," Deena adds.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Hea-Hallie," Says the person.
" She looks like," I whisper to deena.
"Heather," Deena says.
"How did you know my name," Heather asks.
