Foster Parents?

AU: Wilbur and Schlatt (Mainly Wilbur) decided to be foster parents, ya know the ones that take in different kids for specific amounts of time? Yeah those ones :]
(Also I don't know what to call the people who call the foster parents and tell them about the kids so im gonna call them CPS) AKA Child Protective Services

It was around 5 AM when I was woken up by a call from the CPS. I wasn't really surprised, since I know that emergency placements can happen at any time. Schlatt was still asleep beside me when I answered the call.

"Hello, this is Wilbur Gold Soot, correct?"

"Yes, that's me."

"Great, we have a emergency placement that we figured you could take, is that alright with you?"

"Of course! Could I have their name and age?"

"Sure, her name is Floris, she's 14."

"Alright, that works for me. May I ask where she's coming from?"

"Abusive household. Her parents aren't to good of people."

Wilbur tensed up. His parents were abusive to him, always getting drunk and creating horrible memories. And then there was his abusive ex, he wasn't that good of a person either. Wilbur had a lot of experience with abuse.

"Mr Soot? Are you there?"

Wilbur snapped back into reality, almost forgetting he was on a call.

"Yes, I'm here, sorry."

"It's ok, anyways are you able to take her in?"

"Of course I am, I just need to talk to my partner first and get everything ready. What time do I need to be there?"

"She's scheduled to arrive here at around 6:15 am, so could you get here around 6?"

"Of course! Is there anything else I need to know before the call ends?"

"No, that's everything. We'll give you whatever other information we have when you get here, goodbye Mr. Soot"

"Goodbye"

Well, I have about 50 minutes to talk to Schlatt and get everything done. That is, if Schlatt wakes up fast.

It's been about 30 minutes since I got the call. I woke up Schlatt and talked to him, we both agreed that I would go pick her up, and Schlatt would stay here getting things ready. I already made sure the room that she would be staying in is nice and clean, and that there was a little welcome basket sitting on the made bed. And I made sure to put little notes and stuff wherever they were needed, and while I'm gone Schlatt will finish things up.

For now though, we had about 20 minutes to get dressed. (Since we didn't feel like having our first meeting in pajamas, that would be a bit rude)

After I was dressed and had everything I needed to leave, glasses, keys, inhaler, wallet, things like that. I started walking out the door.

"Hey! Wait up" Schlatt walked over to me. "Forget something?"

I was confused, I thought I had everything. I started looking around with a confused face then looked at Schlatt. He had a smirk on his face then suddenly put his hands in my hair and pulled me into a kiss. One of his arms went to my waist, then the other and before I knew it, we had stopped kissing and he was hugging me.
