Listen. I've heard about all the drama going on and I wanted to share my opinion about it.

Before I get into this, remember this is my opinion and you are totally valid to not agree with it. Just dont go around raising more drama.

I usually try to be joking and more light-hearted on here but this is just enough.

I'm not trying to target specific people, this is something generally everyone should know.

Note: I am not racist, homophobic,  transphobic, or anything like that. I also do not like canceling people. I genuinely just want to enjoy the Dream SMP and the CCs without getting involved in drama, it's a reason that I deleted Twitter. Please don't accuse me of things I'm not or dont do. This is just my personal opinion on what's been going on in the fandom.

I am personally a fan of JSchlatt, and seeing people trying to cancel him over things is just getting annoying. And Tommy, hes still just a kid.

People have every right to be mad and upset at Schlatt. Nothing is stopping you from just staying away from his content and things that involve him. But attacking people and calling them a racist and such for supporting him? That's a new low. The Jackbox video, yes there was some content in it that is sensitive to some people. For example, the blackface joke. Also, no, it is not my place to be personally offended by it, mainly because I'm not a POC. So please dont think this is me trying to act offended by it or whatever. Schlatt didnt even make the joke, that was Swaggersouls. Yes Schlatt laughed at it and ended up uploading the video. We dont know what Schlatt is like behind the camera, or behind his online persona. They were just jokes and even though they are bad, hes not the only person who has made bad/offensive jokes. Everyone has done something that has offended another person in there life, no one is a perfect angel who has never done something bad. Everyone has made mistakes. People are just deciding to be mad at him for making some and not being mad at the people who actually deserve it.

Tommy has every right to be friends with Schlatt, he has every right to be a fan of him. Also, keep in mind hes 17 and lives in the UK. Aave is not as big of a thing there, so dont get mad about that, instead of being mad understand that some of those words are included in other peoples language, not just the POCs. And the words Tommy says could sound like those other words, because his accent wont allow him to say the words like American people. We have different accents, and languages, so you cant expect everyone to not use the words included in Aave. Tommy is 17, whether he or you like it or not, he is still a child. You cant expect him to know and understand what's right and what's not. He has to learn these things, he doesnt automatically know them.

People make mistakes, they say things they dont mean, hell you and everyone else make mistakes and say things you don't mean.

No one is perfect, not even CCs or celebrities. At the end of the day, they are humans. Just like you. Humans arent perfect, you cant expect Tommy or Schlatt or anybody else to be a perfect angle and be up to your standards. Its just not possible.

I dont care if you like Schlatt or dont like Schlatt. You can have your opinion, and I'll have mine. I will continue to support Schlatt whether people like it or not until something unforgivable happens. Those who dont support him are able to have valid opinions, just dont go around calling people who support him racist, a bad person for supporting, etc. That's basic human decency to respect others and let them have an opinion without de-validating them and making them feel guilty or whatever.

I would love to hear others opinions and their perspectives of the drama, and remember if anyone needs to talk about anything my DMs are always open. If you do not agree with my opinion, that is valid and I'm not offended by it. But if you dont agree and would like to talk about it and tell me why you dont, feel free to leave a comment or send me a DM, and well talk about it.

Please remember to be respectful, and to not raise drama. This is a safe place for everyone and I would love to keep it that way.
