The Loser's Purge

"PuT yOuR hEaD oN mY sHoUldeR!" the losers sing, except Bill. "C-c-can y'all shut the fuck up. G-Georgie's as-sleep." Bill says as he puts away the UNO. "So? The kid's a heavy sleeper. Look at him, he's still asleep." Richie says and walks over to the sleeping boy.

He shakes him a little to prove a point. "Once you're asleep I'll scream at the top of my lungs and shake you. We'll see how you like it." Stan says, backing up Bill. He pulls Richie back away from Georgie. They hear a low rumble coming from one of the losers.

"I think we should eat now," Mike says. A couple of minutes later and they're all eating besides Georgie since he's asleep. "Thank god for this food. I was so close to eating haystack over here." Richie says, earning a smack on the back of the head from Beverly.

"Beep beep Richie," Beverly says and drinks some more of her orange juice. They hear a scream coming from outside, making them all look at the door. It sounded kinda far, but close. It sounded like it was in the neighborhood. Maybe a few houses down.

Then they hear a gunshot and then another, that's when the screams stopped. "I hope that wasn't what I think it is..." Beverly says and looks at Georgie. He jumped up awake. "I hope that was just a recording," Eddie says and gets closer to Richie.

Then they hear a burst of uncontrollable laughter, it sounded far too. Georgie gets up and runs quickly to the losers. Bill pulls him to the ground and hugs him. He covers Georgie's ears in case there was another gunshot, scream, or laugh from outside. After a while, Bill un-covers his ears but is still hugging him.

But it was too soon, there were more gunshots, screams, and the same burst of laughter. "Fucking maniacs," Ben says and the noises continue. It was definitely more than one person. It was multiple guns going on at the same time. And those were definitely different laughs happening at the same time,

They were getting closer and closer by the minute. Bill tried to calm down Georgie, but he couldn't. They were all scared, they couldn't even comprehend what was happening right now. Beverly, Eddie, and Georgie were crying. Georgie was crying pretty loud, so Bill had to keep his hand on his mouth to keep him quiet.

Eddie and Beverly were crying in silence. Beverly was just sitting there frozen in fear, letting the tears fall down her cheek. Eddie was against Richie, crying on his shoulder, wetting Richie's jacket.
