I was asleep until my phone rang
"Hello" I said my voice still raspy because I just woke up
"Aww honey did I wake you up I'm so sorry"
Mom said on the other line
"Don't worry about it I wasn't having a very good dream" I laughed softly
"Oh ok do you want to talk about it?"
Mom said
I sighed and thought for a moment
"No not really, so how's base ball stuff going" I asked looking over at my window
There was nothing there
"Phil's working so hard, you know spring training, we're looking for a house to rent incase things become a little more permanent, you'd like Jacksonville"
Mom said
" i think I wanna stay in forks"I said
"What?" Mom said
"Forks, I like it here" I said
"That funny, your sister said the same thing, could a boy or girl have anything to do with this revelation"she asked
I snorted
"Nope, I don't know what to say I just like it here. dads lonely without us I feel bad for him"I said siting up in bed, i heard her sigh on the other side of the line
"Ok honey we'll talk about it, when you come up here for the weekend" she said
I looked out my window and saw a figure standing at the edge of the forest, i took a closer look and a pang of recognition shot through my body
"So uh, who's this guy your sisters dating
Mom says interrupting my thoughts
"Oh uh Edward? He's alright I guess" i said as I walked over to the window
"so hes a nice guy then' mom said looking for reassurance i hummed agreeing with her statement
...
"Hey Bella"
I called from outside her bedroom
"Yeah come in" she said
"Um can i borrow the book you got from the book store In port angles the greenish blue one"
I asked
"Um Sure it's on my desk" Bella replies looking up from her homework
"Okay" I said grabbing it from her desk looking back to her I shot her a smile of gratitude then left.
