Warmth... Sunshine... Peace

The room was bathed in a comforting golden glow, a tranquil moment that Minho and Jisung savoured. Like a contented feline, Minho lay with his eyes closed, basking in the comforting warmth of the sun. Jisung, nestled against Minho's chest, found reassurance in the steady rhythm of his breath, a shared existence mirrored in the rise and fall.

Something I've always craved... And now? Maybe I have it.

"Hyung?" Jisung spoke in a hushed tone to Minho, who delicately trailed his fingers along Jisung's shoulder while tenderly kissing his forehead. In response, Minho let out a soft hum, his body visibly relaxed, indicating his comfort in their intimate moment, almost drifting back into sleep. Jisung found himself drawn closer to Minho as the gentle caresses elicited a tingling sensation, knowing that Jisung was lying next to him in bed.

"Min..." He spoke again.

"Sung..." Minho mumbled, rolling to shift and grip Jisungs body, trying to collect his warmth. He pulled the blanket over their bodies and held Jisung closer, afraid he would slip away. They've had a few rough days where Minho would disappear and appear out of nowhere. Jisung had an idea of where he was going; hence, he could see the bruises that littered the man's torso or how he winced, walking from time to time, though he couldn't find a way to bring that up. The undergrounds were already a sensitive topic in the bunker, especially with Felix and Minho. Jisung contemplated following the older to one of the undergrounds to test if his theory was true, but that would mean he was breaking Minho's trust, something he had spent too long trying to gain. Minho's face pressed into Jisung's neck. It felt comforting and safe, safer than he had felt in years. They were nonchalantly lying in Minho's bed after they kissed. It became a familiar feat when they saw each other, when and if Minho stayed in the bunker without sneaking off or living with Jeongin. One kiss that turned into possibly their new favourite pastime. The closest physical affection Minho would lead before lying would be lying in bed and cuddling to prevent tensing and tunnel visioning from the Trauma. Did Jisung mind? No, he wanted Minho to feel comfortable and go at his pace. They could be heated to the point of no return, but the moment Minho shut down, Jisung became a primary caretaker, validating and ensuring Minho was okay. They were traversing such an ocean of new experiences that even Jisung was learning about his dos and don'ts. Last night was just another one of those foreign experiences. The kiss soon turned into a heavy session of small kisses and breaths that set both hearts ablaze, and Minho's body ached from Jisung's touches to the point of craving more. He felt better, in a way. Having Jisung by his side has worked wonders. Sure, he sometimes confuses him and can be a little hard to communicate with, but somehow, it's always one-sided with him. Minho sometimes felt internally guilty that Jisung was forced to deal with him and his traumatic notions.

But like any day, Minho began playing with the chain wrapped around Jisung's neck, the silence enveloping them in a comforting embrace. He would admire the man's tattoos that littered his arms and back, learn new things about each one, and see that they covered scars as well. He loved Jisung's confidence in his body compared to his own. His scars were not covered by beautiful artwork but slandered with his painful history. "Hyung..." Jisung whined cutely trying to pull away, but Minho held tighter.

"Don't go yet." Minho was terrified to let him go. He may have gotten so attached, when he shouldn't, but something just keeps drawing him closer, wanting to consume more of it.

"But Minho-Hyung! I'm hungry. Feed me?" He sighed. Sitting up a little bit leaning over top the younger kissing his forehead.

"Kisses are yummy. I like the taste of yours." Minho flirtatiously spoke. His face turning all shades of reds, hiding his face now. Minho wasn't even thinking when his fingers lapsed over Jisung's cheeks. He couldn't keep his eyes steady, yet smiled warmly.
