A Gifted Sense

"Jeongin! You jerk why do you keep taking photos of me!" Minho groaned in frustration, simply slumping back down into the seat at the cafe the two of them arrived at. Of course it had been a cat cafe, the moment Minho even stepped foot into the small room, cats were at his feet like he was calling them. A curse and a blessing. Minho was a sucker for felines, and the cats were just as attracted to him.

"Because, memories- and because you won't hurt me for doing it." Jeongin snickered as he also sat down giggling at his phone.

Its been 14? Maybe 15 days since leaving Felix and Seungmin behind with Jisung, Chris, Changbin, and Hyunjin. It ate at him internally but Minho knew it was the better option. He wasn't hurt at the fact he left Felix. He only thought of the lost brown eyes of a simple introverted quokka. He couldn't drive Jisung out of his head. It was like once you begin liking something you become addicted to that feeling, that taste, the excitment it would bring you. And in this case, Jisung made Minho feel things he thought never existed.

Love.

Affection...

Care...

Words that he hadn't felt or had the need to feel in years. He did however, feel loneliness, tiredness, skeptical of a world that had the antonyms. It sat itself in the pit of his stomach feeling lost and confused as to why he felt these other characteristics with Jisung.

Was it because they were similar? Was it guilt from being harsh with him. Direct or stern about him constantly getting involved in Minhos personal affairs? No matter how much he told him to not hug him, it still happened. No matter how many times the younger cleaned  his scars he couldn't get the sensation out.

And yet here he was again thinking about the 'what if' he stayed moments.

Typical...

"Lee Know-Hyung, you'll age faster if you keep scrunching your fact like that!" Jeongin cheekily laughed snapping yet again another picture.

What pocessed Minho to actually stay more then one day. Not just one day but 2 weeks now. He couldn't get that through his head at this point either.

"Shut up brat. Eat your food." Minho jokingly snapped. He hadn't felt this relaxed in some time and somehow Jeongin was helping him bit by bit put puzzle pieces together.

"Yes, Hyung!" He sassed taking a bite of his food. Minhi clicked his tongue in annoyance at his attitude. But it was still addicting none the less.

They continued to casually sit and talk amongst their coffee. Jeongin had to head to work soon so it was going to be a quiet day.

It became a usual routine somehow. Wake up, grab a coffee at the cafe, walk him to work; if he worked an early morning, and Minho roamed the city till he felt like going home or he found some underground hub battles stumbling by them in pure coincidence. By then, he would get back to Jeongin apartment and prep food for the younger. A way of saying thanks for allowing him to crash here.

Although he did say to Jisung some rather cold words regarding living on the streets it wasn't any safer either. Just cause he knew the streets didn't mean he can keep himself onehundred percent protected. Thinking about Jisung again, made the corners of his lips turn, sighing and letting a small chuckle out while he petted the first feline that curled up in his legs. A chunky one at that. Its cheeks puffed out almost amusing Minho. He let a small hum release. How did he manage this? How did he manage to make this foreign feeling shit he's avoided for years?

He couldn't explain.

"You really are just in your own world again today."

"No I'm not." Minho defended. Pokeing at the what looked entertaining a cat who just curled up on his legs. The wave of uncertianty was endless, he would call this one Bobby, no reason tho, he was trying to distract himself.
