Two years later...

"Armand!" I sat on the bed with my phone in hand and the picture that stared back at me made me want to throw the phone at a wall in both excitement and annoyance.

"What is it?" He called back from the bathroom. His voice a bit muffled by his toothbrush I think.

"Esther and Victor got married. In Vegas!" I threw my hands up in disbelief.

"What?!" he came out, wearing only briefs and a toothbrush in his hand.

"Look." I grabbed my phone again and walked up to him to show him the picture.

The picture was both of them dressed in bright colors, showing off their rings and huge grins on their faces. They were on the second tour and it seemed that the stop in Vegas was for more than a concert.

"I feel slightly betrayed, we invited them to our wedding." Armand shook his head and then grinned. "I'm so happy for them."

"Yeah, me too. Still, I'm going to make Esther sweat a bit when she calls."

"Of course you are." Armand went back into the bathroom and I followed him.

"What is that supposed to mean?" I had to wait for him to finish brushing his teeth to get an answer.

"You're too happy for them to even hold on the angry stance for more than a minute." Then I was following him back to the bed. "Plus we've been keeping a secret from them."

I felt his hand move to my round belly; it always made my heart speed up.

"I wanted to pass the first trimester." I placed my hand over his.

"You're going to be five months in two weeks." Armand kissed my shoulder.

"I know," I sighed. "I just don't know how to bring it up, but I'll tell her when she calls."

"Don't worry, she's your best friend, she'll understand." He moved his arm so he was holding me better and I reached over to the lamp to turn the light off.

Armand and I, we've been married for a year and a half and I loved every moment of it. We bought the house we wanted and when we found out we were going to have a baby, we started working on the nursery. Maeve kept giving us baby stuff and buying the most ridiculous things.

Everything is lovely and I wouldn't have it any other way.

"I'm going to look for that lotion Nina suggested," the one that helped a bit with stretch marks and such. "Are you sure you're okay here?"

"Darcy, I'm a grown man, I'm not going to get lost in the bread aisle." Armand rolled his eyes.

"You did once." I said and started walking away chuckling at what he shouted next.

"I wasn't lost, I was looking for you!"

When I found that lotion Nina had gushed about, I did not expect to also find Jenny. Jenny who was way bigger than me and with a baby on a stroller.

"Hi." Her head turned to look at me so fast I thought she was going to fall, or something.

"Darcy." Her voice was laced with surprise.

"Hi." I repeated. "How are you? It's been what, almost three years since we last saw each other?"

"Yeah, something like that." She chuckled. "I'm doing great, just been a bit restless. These two don't let me sleep much."

"You're having twins." I stated.

Jenny hummed in agreement. "They'll be out in a week or two. Nate's been helping a lot with little Abigail here, but three? We're going to have our hands full."

"How far along are you?" she asked before I could comment about anything else.

"Almost five months. It's a bit terrifying." I chuckled.

"I know. Is it your first then?"

"Yeah, but Armand and I, we want a big family. We'll see how well we handle ourselves with one and how long in between we wait for the next one." Why am I talking this much?

"You're still with Armand then." But before I could say anything she raised a hand to stop me. "Of course you are. You guys were great together. I'm happy for you Darcy, now I have to go."

"I hope everything goes well with the babies. I'm happy for you Jen, goodbye." We didn't hug, we didn't shake hands, we just waved and each took our separate ways.

"You found the lotion?" Armand asked as soon as I reached him.

"Yes," I placed it in the cart. "I also found Jenny."

His attention left the fruit he was picking to look at me. "Are you okay?"

"She has a baby girl and she's pregnant, with twins. She looks happy." I smiled.

"I'm glad to hear that." Armand smiled back and hugged me. "You need to stop blaming yourself for what happened."

"I know." I sighed, tightening my hold on him. We stood like that for a minute and then he pulled back, placed a kiss to my lips and started picking apples again.

"How do you feel about apple pie?"

Yeah, everything turned out beautifully.
