Brads POV
Dinner was a success. I think Syd and I make great hosts. We all went and sat
On the couch and talked. Macy nearly jumped out of her seat. We all give her a weird look.
"You okay?" Syd asks her laughing.
She nods "yeah, but I have a fantastic idea!" She beams
We all nod and look at her waiting for her to continue.
"Syd let's all go shopping tomorrow. Well just us girls. And get stuff for the babies!!" She claps.
Sydney immediately smiles nodding
"Yes!!!! Now that we know the genders we can spoil them rotten!" She winks at me. I laugh and roll my eyes.
"I'm guessing you need my debit card?" I ask her.
She laughs and nods.
"Yes" she replies and her and the girls start talking going off into their own world. It made me smile. She was so ex tied to have these babies, so was I! But she was already just such a good mom. The way she held her stomach as she was trying to protect them from anything. It was so cute. She was perfect.
"So Brad. Tomorrow while the girls are out let's go to the sports bar, watch the game and have a few drinks?" James asks looking at the girls asking for approval. I look over at Sydney and she smiles and nods.
"Yeah you should go Brad, you deserve a guys day!!" She smiles. God she's so considerate.
I nod "alright so it's settled. Girls are going shopping, boys are watching football!" Tristan says high fiving Connor.
It gets late so everyone decides to leave. We wave them off then I close the door. Sydney sighs and hugs me tightly
"Thanks for tonight" she mumbles into my chest.
I smile and kiss the top of her head.
"Anything for my princess." I say causing her to lift her head.
"Stoppp it, your making me blush!" She laughs walking towards our room. I lock the door and follow her.
She changes into a tee shirt and crawls into bed. I walk into the bathroom and brush my teeth and put some sweat pants on and get in bed next to her.
She immediately cuddles up to me.
"Babe.." She murmurs.
"Hmmm?" I ask closing my eyes.
"Rub my stomach so I can fall asleep."
She smiles and kisses me.
I laugh and reach over and do as she told me. After about 5 minutes later I feel something. I freeze .
"Babe?" I ask her
"Did you feel that?" She asks.
"Yeah.." I say and it happened again
"Oh my god baby!! The babies are kicking!" She says putting her hands over mine. I smile and kiss her cheek. This moment felt amazing. I felt a
Connection to them already. I've never felt this way before.
"I love you" I hear her whisper.
I smile "I love you too!" I say kissing her head.
She laughs. "Brad I'm talking to my babies.... But I love you too!" I laugh.
We really were gonna make a great family
