Suprise?

It's been a few days since the babies were born and everything Is running smoothly. Brad is already a great dad, he has been really good about being alert and awake at all times, it's cute actually, but all I can think about is how in love I am with my precious babies. Like when your pregnant you think that you can't love them anymore than you do right then, but when you see them for the first time and you have them in your arms, the love is so much stronger. Katelynn and Stephan are just precious! They both have brads curly brown hair and my green eyes. So perfect. We have been having visitor after visitor come in since the babies were born, I don't think Brad and I have yet to have just us and baby time. At the moment Caitlin and tris were in with us.
"Are you sure you guys don't need anything?" Caitlin asked me.
I laugh "Cait, stop worrying. Brad and I are fine! We get to leave sometime tomorrow anyway and will be home!" I smile reassuringly.
Tristan rubs her shoulders and she nods
"Okay I'm just making sure" she says bending down kissing the babies heads.
"Bye you two cuties!!! Your favorite aunt loves you!" She sings and laughs walking to the door.
"Bye Cait. Bye tris!" Brad and I say in synch as the door shuts. I sigh and lay back.
"Finally.." Brad mutters.
I laugh and look at the babies beds and smile
"god they are perfect!" I smile wide
"I know right! They never cry it's amazing" Brad says nodding.
I glare at him "I meant they look perfect Brad."
He laughs "Well duh, look at their mother" he smiles and winks.
"Oh the cheek of you" I laugh and kiss his cheek.
He smirks "ladies man" he shrugs. I laugh and just as I'm about to reply to his comment Stephan starts crying, causing Kate to do so as well.
"Duties call.." I say reaching for Katelynn, motioning for Brad to get Stephan. We both kinda had a system worked out to where we would switch off babies so we could get equal time with them.
After we had calmed them down and asleep brad came and sat beside my bed
"So our anniversary is coming up.." He smirks.
I nod and laugh
"Yeah what are you all giddy about it's not like we can do much as we now have 2 newborn babies" I say playing with his hands.
He smiles "I already have a surprise for you. And my parents are gonna watch them. Just for one night... I promise it will be worth it." He says with his big brown eyes gleaming.
I smile and give in
"Fine.. But if anything happens to my babies.." I warn jokingly.
"They will be fine... Now come on rest up... Maybe we can take the babies home tomorrow." He says laying me back and leaning down to kiss me. I love how he can still make me swoon like he did when we first met. I was so proud of how far we had come.
