By the second day Dylan was turning the world upside down. He didn't care if he had to sell his soul to the devil.

Judge Shen didn't take things lightly when Dylan showed up to his home. He knew there was something off the minute he walked inside his office.

"Why on earth did you wait a whole day to tell me?!"

"I apologize, I have been everywhere trying to track her."

Judge Shen could tell the man was in distraught.

Unlike Dylan, he was composed enough to think quickly.
"Have they gotten in contact? This is very rare."

Dylan filled him up on what he knew.

"That is why I think this person knows me. Whomever it is, they are after me."

The judge didn't waste time snarling or threatening him for keeping that piece if information.

He dialed a few numbers.
"Can you contact paralegal Chen?"
The other end said something Dylan couldn't hear.

"Where? When did he take leave?" he paused.

"I see... then get me the legal assistant and the security advisor."

Dylan raised a questioning brow to the judge.
"I already have my team reassessing everything. Give them access to your security cameras and her penthouse for any evidence."

Dylan had done everything, there was nothing.

"Two minds is better than one, Dylan."

He has a point.

For a minute Dylan found it odd Judge Shen's paralegal was not the one to usher him in. He was friends with Shen Yue after all, shouldn't he be concern?

"Where is your paralegal Mr. Shen?" He asked.

"He took his leave days for vacation. He should be back in a week or two."

Dylan didn't think much of it because Shen Yue's father was glaring at him.

"You said my daughter was safe with you. You can't keep your wife from harm?"

His voice was stern, just an inch away from shouting, again.

"I tried my hardest. I won't stop until she comes home safe, whatever it takes."
