I have no idea why you want to read about me.
Sure, I'm awesome. My friends and family are too but my life? No, especially after I lost the people I loved most, everything went upside down.
See, my life is not what a normal human should ever go through.
But anyway, since you 're already here, I guess I could tell you my story. Now, don't say I didn't warn you.
Let's start from a day in the cafe when I got so bored and started goofing off on a shift with Ryan.
"Sky, no." He shook his head, trying not to laugh.
"Sky, yes" I nodded, grinning.
"No, Sky, don't." he said more sternly.
"Telling me not to~" I replied in a singsong voice. "Just makes me want to do it more~"
I walked away from him and over to an empty table just behind the couple taking pictures over their coffee.
I bit my lip. I looked back at Ryan who just shook his head again.
I continued to wipe the table with a rag, pretending to do my job. Then, I heard the first click of the camera and I watched the random couple from the corner of my eye.
They started posing for another selfie. After a couple of seconds, I went behind then to make a wacky pose - something like looking like a gorilla - just in time to be caught on camera.
They didn't look at the pics yet. I stifled my laughter.
They took another and I made a heart shape with my hands, scrunching my nose, and showing off my teeth like I'm growling.
They still haven't look at the pictures yet.
I take a deep breath and made the worst expression in my face that I really can't explain anymore.
OK, I've had enough photobombing!
I snorted and practically ran to the counter where Ryan was on the other side, laughing as low as he can.
Ryan was so busy laughing that he didn't open the counter's door for me this time. Lucky for me, I had training. I just jumped over the counter, trying my best not to hit anything that could break but I still fell to the floor with a thud.
I got up to my knees and took a deep breath again, pushing my brain to make up something believable to do.
Ok, an excuse for being on the floor, uh, an excuse for the thud uh . . . excuse. . . um.
GOT IT!
"Oh, gosh! Ryan, where is my phone?"
Shoot! It should be "OH, GOSH MY PHONE FELL" or something like that!
Ryan exhaled. Then, he replied with the worst answer he has ever given me in the many years we've been together.
"I don't know." he said. "Have you asked your dad?"
I gave him the "What the heck?" look from my cold spot on the floor. We both knew very well that my dad is dead.
"I-I mean," he winced. "It fell on the phone- the bag- I mean, the floor."
He scanned the café. I heard the shop bell ring as someone walks out the door. We stayed silent for a second.
He looked at me and we burst into laughter. This went on for so long I swear everyone thinks we're crazy - it's completely true.
"I guess this is better than watching the movie marathon. "I said, finally calming down as I wiped another tear.
"Uh, excuse me, sir." A guy said behind the counter.
