The day at work was exhausting.

We were leaving the cafe for the next shift so we thought we'd help clean up after the many drinks that spilled and cups shattered. I was already making up a hundred excuses to say to my boss about it but my brain felt like it was going to explode by switching from that and to the wind thing and Red.

Ryan didn't say much. I was grateful for that. He just hummed while wiping tables. Occasionally, he'd tell me to get over it and my response who range from ranting to frowning.

I didn't tell him about the wind. I wished he would bring it up so I don't feel like I'm going insane but he didn't so, I figured I'd talk about that with Lyla and Oliver.

We agreed to meet at the mall in an hour.

I still had to bring Ryan though. He was one of the few people who knew about my powers - and power outbursts - and every other thing in my life.

"So this wind?" he asked, scratching his messy hair. "Blew in a zigzag?"

I kicked a rock off the pavement. It skipped to the other side of the road and crashed on a tire of a car parked right in front of a "No parking" sign.

We kept walking. Ryan frowned at it for a moment even when we walked passed it, probably waiting for it to explode or something.

"Look, Sky, I believe you. Really I do."

I glared at him.

"Ok, not really. It's just what every other rational person would think, right?"

"Yeah, sure. Every other rational person would be like 'I'm your friend who knows about your powers for so long but think wind moving through people - in a zigzag - is unbelievable."

I waited for him to speak again. For a while, we walked in silence.

Now that we were outside, the cold wind was moving straight just as it should be. It blew the hair from my face. My hair that was curled from being in a bun for so long bounced on my back and shoulders while I listened to leaves rustling from the trees on an empty lot.

I looked up at the sky. The sun was about to set, changing the sky's hue. Shades of orange, beautiful and calming. Sometimes, I wished my eyes were orange so it would remind my mom of the afternoon than the night sky.

In this part of town, the streets were usually empty. No one would walk here alone. It was where most crimes happen. Many were said to have gotten kidnapped here. Cars here were usually stolen ones. If not, it was about to get stolen.

Of course, me and Ryan didn't mind. We were trained to fight by our parents and this was a short cut to many of the important places in town. Even so, we were still careful.

Ryan started humming to himself. I pouted but I figured it would be better to talk about it again with Oliver and Lyla. They would understand.

Suddenly, an old friend began talking in my head again. No, not imaginary. Astrum is really a different voice in my head. Call me crazy and trust me, that is completely true. I'm insane.

"Celestia!" They called in my head.

I scowled.

It was so long since the voice in my head started talking like that. I was like five and being the weird crazy kid I am, I would talk back (I was told that I was Bipolar because of that). I called them "they" since they didn't seem to be the same person every time they spoke to me and also, I didn't know their gender even if they sound exactly like me.

Astrum made it clear that they were not me. They were something else from another realm they said and that they weren't my conscience either. I always believed it. Astrum would say stuff I don't even know or ever heard of. Even google didn't have answers to whatever they were trying to tell me. My mind could never make up something like that.
