"So Mr. Choi about the land" Mr. Park started as he took a shot, they were at the 15th hole now and he decided it would be best to start discussing the subject now.

"Of course, I haven't sold that piece of land to the 20 other people that asked me, why should you be any different?" Mr. Choi asked taking his own shot.

"Mr. Choi you've known my father since before I was born, you've watched me take this company to new lengths, I'm willing to offer you 75,000,000 won for it" Jay urged as they took steps towards the 16th hole.

"You're not the only one has offered me millions for that land Jay, but I am stubborn and don't give in so easily, I can't help if I feel important when people try to get a land I'm reluctant to sell" he says with a shrug as Jay stands to take his shot.

"Mr. Choi you are important, at least to me, lemme take this land off your hands and 75 million can be negotiable" Jay said stepping aside as Mr. Choi stood to take his shot.

"Jay flattery will get you everywhere, especially because you compliment people so little" Mr. Choi said with a laugh as they moved to the 17th hole.

For the sake of her heels and feet, Hyejin had stayed in the golf cart as it slowly moved along with them.

She wished she hadn't forgotten her phone in the car right now, her boss only complimented people when it benefitted him.

What a charmer.

Jay poked out his cheek with his tongue, but decided to play the mans game.

"Mr. Choi there are numerous land's which I could build the new branch of my office on, I wouldn't be here offering you so much money when others would sell their lands to me for less, I'm taking the risk here by seeking out the one that belongs to you" Jay said with slightly pleading eyes.

Hyejin wanted to laugh.

"If you could build it on other properties why come to me?" Mr. Choi asked as they moved to the next hole.

Touché.

"Ok you caught me, Yours is the most convenient and it ticks all my boxes, I would literally be anywhere else where if I could get a cheaper price for a good location, I'm desperate here so name your price" Mr. Park sulking.

She didn't have her phone, but she'd remember that pout on his face.

"Okay" Was the only thing that Mr. Choi replied back.

"What?!" Mr. Park said shocked.

"If your secretary makes a hole in one on this last shot, I'll sell it to you for 75" Mr. Choi said as they stopped at the 18th  and final hole.

"Miss Hwang?"

"Me what?"

"You heard me, do you want the land or not" Mr. Choi said furrowing his eyebrows.

"Of course Mr. Choi, Hyejin if you would" Mr. Park said gesturing for her to step down from the cart.

Did they just agree that the fate of this agreement would rest on her?

The glasses wearing assistant?

Snapping out of it she quickly walked to them looking at her boss as if asking if this was happening.

He only pursed his lips handing her the club.

She better be getting a bonus for this.

She took her position in front of the golf ball, wondering what would happen if she missed this.

"Mr. Choi surely you'd at least let me help her, it only seems fair since she doesn't have experience with golfing" Mr. Park was quick to say coming to stand at her side.

"Please feel free" Mr. Choi said stepping back.

Before Hyejin could process anything, Mr. Park had enclosed her in his arms holding her hands to hold the club steady as he rested his chin on her shoulder.

Holy Mary.

"Miss Hwang for both our sakes please follow my lead" her boss whispered in her ear.

Jksjksjsksjsks.

"Eh okay" Hyejin said trying not to giggle.

She wondered if there were cameras secretly videoing this for a new K-drama.

"Steady now Hyejin" he continued to whisper trying to properly aim the shot.

"One" he gripped her hand tighter.

"Two" he readied the club.

"Three" they took the shot.

"Wait he did what?!!?" Jaeje said as they both got the snacks ready for movie night.

It was 'Netflix & Chill' today and to say Hyejin had things to gossip about was an understatement.

She really had a big mouth

"Mr. Choi said he'd sell the land if I made the shot and he obviously didn't want to leave me to take on the risk" Hyejin said as they settled down.

"Last I checked you said if someone extremely handsome ever did that, they're were unofficially your husband" Jaeje said scrolling through the new K-dramas that had been uploaded to Netflix.

"That was such a long time okay, I've matured since then" Hyejin said  puffing her chest out as they decided on watching 'Love Alarm'.

"That was 2 weeks ago but okay" Jaeje muttered.

"So now the land is sold?" she continued, throwing some of the popcorn in the air trying to catch them in her mouth.

"Yeah, and with any luck I've secured myself a bonus" Hyejin said as she laid down on the couch, she was about to start the show when a thought came to her.

"What did you and Mr. Park even talk about, I refuse to believe it was a friendly conversation, especially with someone he has known for not up to a week" Hyejin said getting all up in her friends face.

"Really it was, he just gave me some in sight on Mr. Lee, they seem to be the best of friends with how he talked about him" Jaeje said shoving Hyejin away.

"The 7 of them have been friends since they were practically born, Parents are all friends, taken to the same schools, same college majors, it was kinda already written in their destiny to be friends" Hyejin said as she decided her friend wasn't lying.

Cause she knew her like that.

"Well for practically being forced to be friends, they're all really close" Jaeje said thoughtfully.

"You have to stick together when your 21st century kids with parents who've already written your fate" Hyejin said finally starting the series.

"Yeah it's a good thing we got out of that one, hm?"

"Exactly my friend, now time for some Song Kang and Jung Ga-ram!"
