It was the next day in the office, Hyejin and Jay silently working on their different tasks, Jay was more or less distracted with his thoughts from last night. He looked over to Hyejin who was busy sorting the week's documents.

He thought about Heeseung's words about letting everything happen naturally and looked towards the clock to see twenty minutes to one, lunch time for everyone in the office. He closed the file he was currently typing and closed his laptop, he stood up and went to pick up his coat, surprising Hyejin who normally brought his lunch up for him.

"Let's go" he said to the still confused Hyejin.

"Where? I normally bring lunch for you and I don't think you have any meetings set up for today" she opened the reminder on her tablet to check again, worried she had forgotten about an important meeting.

"It's almost lunch, I feel like going out today" he said simply shrugging his shoulders, he put on his coat and walked towards the elevator, hurriedly followed by Hyejin who had rushed to put on her own coat seeing as the weather that week had been terribly cold.

"Ok then, let me quickly get the driver on the phone" she said, pulling out her phone from the pocket of her coat and going to her contacts to call the driver to get the car ready. Jay sighed, quickly snatching the phone away from Hyejin.

"Don't you see I'm trying to spend more time with you? I'll drive" he said, giving the phone back to a now blushing Hyejin who silently nodded and put the phone back into her coat.

They got to the parking lot after passing a shocked Yuna, who was surprised her boss seemed to be going out for his lunch instead of being served in his office.

Once they both got into the car, Jay drove off towards a nearby café and parked. They rushed into the shop, trying to get away from the cold of the midday Seoul and Jay didn't waste anytime in taking Hyejin's hand into his, not bothering to acknowledge the way she stared at their joint hands in shock.

"Good afternoon, what can I get you both today?" the cashier asked, smiling at the two she thought a couple.

"Oh we'll have-" she cut herself off, looking towards Jay to respond to what he wanted to eat, but he just stared back at her confused.

"We'll have whatever she wants" he told the cashier and Hyejin seemed startled by the question, but ordered nevertheless.

"Letting me decide what we eat won't give you bonus points" she said to him once they finally sat down at a table near the window.

"Who said I was looking for bonus points? I just didn't know what to order" he replied, not at all putting effort into the lie.

Hyejin hummed, playing along with what he said and pulled out her phone, but it was once again abruptly taking by Jay.

"Would you stop taking my phone?" she asked, but he just put in his coat pocket.

"You're so quiet today" she pointed out.

"It's always been so easy to speak my mind, now I can't find anything to say, all your fault" he accused and she gaped at him.

"What did I do?" she asked, crossing her arms.

"It's hard to talk to you when you're this pretty" he also crossed his arms and pouted, looking away.

"Always the charmer" she told him, but she could feel the blush rising on her face.

"I'm not a charmer, I'm just honest" he told her as the waiter came with their food.

"How come I'm only pretty now, we've known each other for two years already" she said and she told the waiter thanked the waiter for the food.

"I've been asking myself that for weeks now, it was probably just blindness" he excused and the rest of lunch was spent with cringe but sweet remarks from Jay and laughs and witty comebacks from Hyejin.

They left soon after and Jay decided he wanted to do a bit of window shopping before heading back to the office. He took a hold of her hand again with Hyejin not even showing any signs of surprise, used to Jay's love for holding her hand.

"Even though we aren't together, I feel very lucky to hold your hand" he said and Hyejin couldn't even bring herself to make a comment, so she just grasped the hand tighter and let Jay lead her around a few shops.

After sometime Jay rushed them into a Jewelry shop and Hyejin thought he'd seen a new chain to buy. She waited as he picked out whatever he had seen and gone to pay, when he finished he brought her towards a mirror.

"Do you want to wear it now?" she asked, but let herself be put in front of the mirror as Jay pulled out a beautiful diamond necklace, the plain but gorgeous heart right in the middle.

"Don't take it off, I may say this so many times that you get tired of it, but you really are very beautiful" he whispered as he helped her wear the necklace, not taking his eyes off her as he clipped it.

Hyejin felt her heart beat increase as he finished putting on the necklace, she silently thanked him and held his hand again as they went out of the store and went back into the car.

"Thank you again for the necklace" she said tracing it along her neck. She felt Jay's hand leave hers and instead grasp her arm, turning her towards him.

"If you thank me for everything, it would seem like I'm doing you a favour, from now on know I do it because I like you, so just give me kisses" he said and faced forward again, trying to look unbothered.

"I can manage that" she laughed and leaned forward to kiss his cheek.

Before she could give him the kiss, Jay quickly turned and made her connect with his own lips instead, she didn't back out, but instead leaned more into the kiss.

The hand that hand been holding hers all afternoon was now placed at the back of her neck, lightly squeezing in a possessive manner.

Call her what you like.

But she apparently never hated her boss at all.
