After a long wait from both Hyejin's and Jay's side, it was finally time for the awaited date with Hongjoong.
Hyejin was currently doing her make-up while her thoughts wondered as to what the man had planned for the day.
She knew that she couldn't keep making both men think that they had a chance while she was seeing both, knowing that her choice to stick with Hongjoong would affect Jay tremendously.
But, at the end she knew she'd have to pick which she liked the most and the answer seemed to be more clear than she thought.
She needed help clipping a hook at the back of her dress and then remembered she hadn't even seen Jaeje today.
Calling out to her friend, she quickly put her shoes on and wore her earings as her friend walked in.
"Mm?" Jaeje asked tired, trying to get the sleep out of her eyes even though she knew she would head back to sleep after answering her friend.
"Can you help me with this hook?" Hyejin asked, turning around so Jaeje could help her with it.
"Finally getting your date with Mr. Kim" Jaeje told her as she helped with the finishing touches.
Despite herself, Hyejin couldn't stop the smile that spread across her face, being reminded that if Jay hadn't lashed out and awkwardly confessed, she would have probably been already going out with Hongjoong.
The change of thought reminded her of the kiss that took place after, followed by the many more.
"Earth to Hyejin" she was snapped out of her thoughts by Jaeje who had been trying to get her attention for the last minute.
"Hm? " she asked, looking over her outfit.
"Pretty boy is here for your date" she informed, having heard the door bell ring.
Hyejin rushed to grab her purse, looking over herself one more time before heading towards the apartment door.
"Don't stay out too late" Jaeje said to her, walking back into her room for a much needed Saturday sleep.
Hyejin calmed herself a bit before opening the door, being greeted by the sight of a smiling Hongjoong.
"Good morning to you" he greeted stepping forward to kiss her cheek, making her blush.
"Morning, why exactly did I need to wake up at the crack of dawn? " Hyejin asked as she walked out, closing the door behind her.
"Well, I just so happened to have planned for the entire day, the sooner we go, the sooner we get everything done" Hongjoong replied, holding his car door open for her.
'It's a good thing Jay is busy today, he won't have time to worry himself about today' Hyejin thought, ready to put Jay out of her mind today to enjoy Hongjoong's company.
"Today is the worst" Jay groaned as his friends surrounded him, knowing today was the dreadful day of Hyejin's date with Hongjoong.
"Everything will be find Hyung don't worry, let's go out to clear your mind" Sunoo comforted his friend with the idea.
"You're right, let's do something" Jay nodded in agreement.
"Well, when in need of a distraction you go shopping!" Heeseung exclaimed as he dragged his friend out of bed.
"And then we can go get lunch, then back to Ni-Ki's place for his game room, you won't even have time to think about Hyejin" Sunghoon said, opening Jay's dresser to find him an outfit.
"First let's get you breakfast" Jungwon said, as he and Jake lead Jay down to the kitchen.
"You guys don't have to do this" Jay said, grateful but feeling bad for being a burden to his friends with all his problems.
"Are you kidding? Having you interested in a girl is one the greatest world events to take place" Jake told him, taking it the pancake mix.
"Ha ha" Jay laughed sarcastically, silently enjoying the company of all his friends.
Soon, food had been made for all seven males and was eaten in haste, all of them impatient to start the day.
"Let's get you dressed" Heeseung dragged his friend along with him, taking his time to get him ready before shoving him into a car.
Jay was in Heeseung's car with Jungwon and Sunghoon, while Ni-Ki and Sunoo drove with Jake.
"But what do you think they're doing? " Jay voiced, needing to get the disturbing thought out of his head.
"We don't know and we don't care, it's us and only us for today" Sunghoon spoke, earning nods for the other two people in the car.
"Your right, your right" Jay agreed, putting on 'Mic Drop' to clear his head.
"First on our list" Hongjoong spoke as Hyejin opened her eyes to see Horses running across a field.
"Yes!" Hyejin exclaimed, running towards the fence to get a closer look at the them.
"Please tell me we're riding and not just feeding them" Hyejin proded, a bit scared to pet a horse that had just come towards her.
"Well, I would have paid way too much extra if we weren't" Hongjoong responded, coming to pet the horse.
"Let's get geared up" he nodded towards where the staff was, waiting for them.
"Did you book the whole place? " Hyejin asked, noticing no one else present.
"Maybe" Hongjoong didn't look into her eyes and walked on.
"Of course you did" Hyejin shook her head, laughing as she ran after him.
They got ready with the help of the staff and soon enough, Hongjoong was helping Hyejin get on her horse, lifting her by her waist.
"Are you trying to be smooth?" She asked, but Hongjoong pretend not to here, heading towards his horse.
"I'm being a gentleman" he shrugged putting on his helmet.
"Sure" she rolled her eyes, putting on hers.
She laughed, sure that if Jay had been here, she would have been the one to help him up. Turns out her boss was more of a coward than she thought.
With that she wondered how he was currently spending his day, not once contacted her.
"DID YOU SEE MY BAG, DID YOU SEE MY BAG, IT'S HELLA TROPHIES AND IT'S HELLA THICK, WHAT YOU THINK 'BOUT, WHAT YOU THINK 'BOUT THAT, BET IT GOT MY HATERS HELLA SICK"
