2 days later----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The last few days in Daegu went by quick with them attending the last part of the meeting the following day and living later in the evening on the fifth day.

They had flown first class again with Heeseung offering to drop them off before they could even try to hail a taxi.

They got into their apartment with Jaeje going off to bed for the night.

What happened didn't really hit Hyejin until she was back in her own room soon after they had landed back in Seoul.

 She had a normal conversation with her boss, one that didn't involve files or business meetings.

He was nice.

Why?

Maybe it was him being away from work for so long that relaxed his head a bit. 

But then they had gone to Daegu for work, so that couldn't be it.

She shook the the thought out of her head and went to take a shower before clocking out for the night.

She was back walking through the office lobby when she saw Yuna popping up from under her desk.

She had learnt not to ask what she was doing under there.

"How was your vacation to Daegu?" Yuna asked as she came to sign in for the day.

"It wasn't a vacation, I had to work just like I do here, I didn't even come across any Idols" she grumbled.

"Aw don't be upset, you must have had some fun" Yuna said.

"We had a day off, so me and Jaeje went sightseeing and then-" Hyejin stopped abruptly.

"Then what?" Yuna asked.

"We went back to the rented cabin and watched some TV." Hyejin finished.

"At least you got 5 days with those handsome men" Yuna said dreamily.

"I thought you had a boyfriend?" Hyejin teased.

"Doesn't stop me from admiring from far" Yuna defended as Hyejin said bye before leaving for her boss' office.

Hyejin had just stepped out the elevator when she heard a shrill voice.

"But I've asked you to reconsider countless  times, why won't you listen to me!" Mrs. Park screeched.

Wasn't she on some trip to get a new pair of shoes or something?

O well, Hyejin was too tired to bother about her right now.

"Good morning" she greeted as she went to make them both coffee, she wasn't in the mood for another tantrum.

"Mum if I've said it once, I've said it a million times, I am not going on a date with Soomi" Mr. park told his mother firmly, not looking away rom his camera.

"You've decided you don't want to look for a girl, so let me do it for you" His mother snapped back.

oh, she was trying to set him up again.

"The reason I'm not looking is because I don't want one, what is it with everyone lately and finding me a girlfriend?" He asked opening a file.

"We care about you and one would do you some good, she might be able to change this cold attitude of yours" his mum replied back.

"I'm sure Hyuna agrees with me, right Hyuna?" She asked suddenly dragging Hyejin into the argument.

"Uh, sure Mrs. Park" Hyejin said dropping the coffee's on the table.

"See Hyuna agrees with me, and I actually gave up coffee on my trip, my friend it's bad for my skin, green tea would be just fine" Mrs. park said as she gave her back the cup.

Hyejin glared at her, hand aching to just throw the coffee on the woman.

Breath, she told herself going back to make some green tea instead.

"She's not agreeing to anything and her name is Hyejin mum" Jay said replying to a message on his phone.

"Same difference" was all she said.

"Mum don't waste your breath, try again in a couple years." he concluded the little argument.

"Is there any hope for you in this world?" his mum said standing up, ignoring a Hyejin who was holding a cup of green tea as she walked into the elevator and left.

Breath Hyejin, you are completely calm.

"Hyejin can you stop standing there doing nothing and help me take these files to finance" her boss said turning back to his laptop.

After Hyejin had calmed down she went back into the office, informing her boss on his meeting for the day.

"You have a meeting with Mr. Han by 1, then another with Mr. Shin by 2:30 before ending the day with Mrs. Jung by 4" Hyejin concluded as she looked up to her boss.

"Hm, I need you to go check with Marketing department about the files I wanted, I don't want to hear any excuses" was his only reply.

"Of course" she said before heading for the elevator.

She had just walked in when she heard 3 employees who were facing the other way talking.

"They really went to Daegu together?" one, she recognized as Eunki, asked.

"Mhm and I heard that Mr. Lee and his secretary went along too" another one of them, Hyunri, replied.

"What do you think they were doing?" Eunki asked.

"Who knows, they might have gone for work, but it's no news Hyejin likes the more luxurious things in life" the last one, Hajoon, answered.

Gossipers.

"If you want to gossip I suggest you do it in private" Hyejin said as the 3 jumped out of shock turning to her.

"Hyejin, we didn't mean anything like what you could be thinking" Hyunri rushed.

"Unless it's true" Hajoon said back.

"Hajoon!" Eunki warned.

"What, I'm only asking, it would be the perfect opportunity for her anyway" Hajoon shrugged.

"Sadly unlike you I don't seek out rich men to pay for an artificial ass" Hyejin snapped back.

"HOW-"

"Now if you don't mind I came here to collect a few files for my boss" she said firmly as Eunki rushed to get, handing them over a few minutes later.

"Thank you, and also I may like the luxurious things in life, but that doesn't mean I'd sell myself short to get it, if you'd excuse me" Hyejin said before heading out of the department.
