Welcome Back ♡ Sousuke x Reader

This is the longest shift Sousuke has ever done at the pool, reaching nearly 12 hours that he was out.

He left at 9am and now it was approaching 9pm. He'd be home soon to see you all bundled up in bed and go make his instant ramen then take a bath.

But instead you actually went out grocery shopping and cooked something he really really liked. The kitchen was starting to smell good.

"What's all this?" He startles you when he surprise walks into the kitchen. The sizzling noise of the pan and smoke was too distracting for you to notice.

"I'm making us dinner." You say, greeting him back home with a smile.

"You didn't have to do that, come on you should be in bed." Sousuke pats you on your bum playfully and you swat his hands away.

"I'm nearly done okay? Go get washed up and then it will be served, just for you Sou." You turn off the fire and spin around to hug him around his neck. You made a happy groaning sound which showed him how excited you were for him to return. "Now go, I don't want to smell the sweat from you." You giggle as a hand runs through his still damp hair.

Sousuke gives you one last warm kiss and parts way. He changes into his pyjamas after having a shower and comes back downstairs with his hair damp and not smelling like chlorine.

The table had a meal for each of you, you had rice and mini homemade burger patties to go with it, as well as vegetables. Then to top that off, you had a nice ice cold glass of cola for both of you.

"Ahhh~" you jokingly try to feed him a patty.

He munches on the hungry bite he took from you. "(Y/n), I can feed myself you know." Sousuke says with his mouth full.

"I know but you've had a hard working shift today. Is it good?" You ask kind of nervously.

A pause happens and he swallows his food. "It's better than good, it's amazing." He says contently.

Finally, this was the closest you got to cooking something decent for him. He was usually the one who cooked amazing food for you to eat, but now you were so happy he likes the things you made.

After a short while, he even grabbed seconds and chugged the rest of his coke. "Thank you for the meal, I love you." He gives your cheek a kiss and lifts you up out your seat.

"I love you too." You say while giving him the biggest bear hug ever.

One last kiss and you're both already walking upstairs to rest those tired legs in bed.
