A/N: this chapter will be very long and a little confusing, but hopefully you'll catch on. I'll try and answer any questions you have about what might be going on.
Blades of grass tickled at Y/N's skin from where she sat in that same flower field she visited so often. The weather today was calm and gentle, the kind that wasn't exactly too warm, but definitely not too cold either; the sun had been beaming down on the vast, empty fields of the SMP, showing it's worthwhile significance and beauty. The perfect kind, in her opinion. She was just grateful to call this place home, with the people she loved most. She must've lost track of time, because the next time she checked, it read '17:00', telling her that she'd been here for much longer than a couple of hours.
Whoops.
But even with that knowledge, she couldn't find it within herself to leave. She couldn't - it was far too peaceful. Truthfully, she'd had a much too tiring day of chores and whatnot, the same she'd always do on days like these. Sitting here in this bed of flowers was the only proper break she'd had, too. So why move and ruin that peace?
That wasn't the only reason she'd visited this place specifically, however. All day, she'd been anticipating the arrival of her 'MIA' boyfriend, who had spent all day with his friends, Sapnap and George. They'd mentioned briefly what they were doing, but she couldn't really recall, thinking of it again. But besides that, it had been so long that she was beginning to doubt his arrival, which was fairly unusual - for him, especially. He never left her waiting like this. She had half a mind to go look for him herself.
But that short glimpse of her green-hooded, blonde, arrogant bastard she loved too dearly put those thoughts to shame.
"Hey, Sweets."
His tall, slim-built form made it's way toward her from not too far away, his forest-coloured hoodie blending in with the plants he carefully stepped through. He carried not a single weapon upon his frame, his face on display to reveal his lovestruck expression. His sandy-blonde tuffs of hair lay messily on his forehead, small curls framing his face nicely, one of her favourite features, in fact. His gorgeous green eyes shimmered under the harsh, golden sunlight, looking almost heavenly under it's glow. His freckles had also noticeably shown against his tan skin, most-likely due to the seasonal weather of summer.
He was just about as pretty as the flowers he walked through, perhaps even more so.
She instantly relaxed upon the sight of him, letting out a quiet exhale before lifting to her feet. A soft smile graced his face, lightening his features so much she could of sworn she was looking through a filter. He slowly made his way toward her with that goofy, bouncy walk he always did, just simply staring at her as if she were the only thing in the world, because to him, she was. She was his world and she was his everything.
Once he finally caught up to her, he shot her his classic toothy grin, revealing his perfect, pearly-white teeth.
"Sorry for taking so long, I just lost track of time..." He apologised, his hand moving to hold her cheek, gently rubbing small circles with his thumb.
She chuckled slightly upon seeing his worn-out state, his hair just a tad bit disoriented than usual and his clothes covered in small dirt stains and marks. Honestly, he looked as though he'd fallen into a bramble bush or two. She wouldn't be half-surprised if that were the case, either. Her hand raised to his ruffled hair, plucking out a leaf before combing out the rest of his hair with her fingers. He relaxed slightly upon her touch, his eyes fluttering shut.
"It's fine. How's your day been?" She asked with a joyous tone, her hand slipping down to grasp his hand as she lowered herself down into the flower field beneath her. He followed her movements, sitting down behind her with a light thump before his legs moved over to trap both of her thighs between his own, allowing her to lie against his chest comfortably. He clicked his tongue in thought, palms pressing into the soft grass behind him.
