Song - "18 : One Direction"
The next morning, I awoke in Nick's arms. For once, I never wanted to get up. Usually I had always been so eager to get the day over with, but now, I wanted to enjoy every second that came to pass. I snuggled closer into him and I could tell I had woke him up.
"Morning" He said as he looked down at me and brushed my hair out of my face.
"Morning" I smiled as I looked up to him to place a kiss on his lips.
"What would you like for breakfast?" He asked me.
"Why don't we go out for breakfast?" I suggested.
He held his tongue. "I don't know. If we go out together, it might stir up something. People will talk."
"People always talk" He glared at me. "Fine. I get it."
"When you turn 18, we can go out to eat. I'll take you anywhere you want." I hadn't taken into consideration just how strike things might be from now on. I mean, a teenager sleeping with the sheriff, we'd both be ruined. Fuck. I can't deny my stupid feelings though.
"Even to get Chinese food?" I questioned, biting my lip.
"God no." He laughed as he threw his head back into the pillow.
"Well, you made breakfast yesterday, so allow me to make it today." I smiled as I hopped out of bed and threw on one of his t-shirts.
"I don't know if I should be appreciative or prepared to call the fire department." He laughed as I threw a shirt at him to shut him up.

He was right and I should've known to never cook. I burnt everything, the eggs, the French toast, and more. The house was still in tact though, so in my eyes, it's a win. He ended up going into town and bringing back food for us. We spent the day watching old black and white films, and playing games until he had to go to work for the night. He drove me to the house where Kate, Simon, and I would be babysitting for the night. Holy shit, Simon! I had completely forgotten about him. What was I gonna do? I can't keep dating Simon, it wouldn't be right — not that I plan on telling anyone what I've done. Simon is a good friend and always will be. I knew are relationship was just a joke, but I don't know if he sees it like that.
But Simon is no Nick Goode.
When I got inside, I found Kate and Simon hiding behind the living room couch. "What are you guys doing?" I laughed as they stood to their feet.
"What are we doing? What are you doing?! We saw the police car and thought someone snitched about the business." Simon explained.
Kate then continued with, "Only for us to find out that you're carpooling with the sheriff!" She stepped closer. "Is there something you're not telling us?"
Ah fuck. Don't panic, don't panic. "Nope. I was skateboarding here and Nick- the sheriff saw me and offered me a lift. That's all." I saw a golden opportunity to change the subject. "Are you still wearing the same clothes from the crash?"
"It was all I had in the car, babe." He said before innocently cupping my cheek and pulling me into a kiss. It felt wrong. Not just because I slept with another man, but because the kiss seemed almost disappointing compared to Nick. Was that so wrong of me to think? Kate left to take a call from Deena and I then forced Simon to discard his bloody shirt. Instead of throwing on a different one, he chose to walk around shirtless.
I gave up by rolling my eyes and walking to the dining room. I said my hellos to the kiddos before Kate and Simon joined me again.
"Put something on" Kate sighed in frustration.
