"Dad, please stop!" Liam sobbed as his father's hand came in contact with his cheek.
"You worthless piece of shit! You're the reason your mother left me! I do not see what your band mates see in you. You can not sing at all!" Geoff raised his voice as he hauled Liam up by the collar of his shirt. "Do you understand me, Boy?! Well. I. Don't. Care. No one wants you, Boy. Not even your band mates."
The words always hurt worse than the punches. The insults cut deeper than the knives. The words. They always rang through his head after each beating.
This would happen again and again and again. It has been like this since Liam's mother and sisters left his father three years ago. Every time Liam came home from a break, He would get abused by his Father.
They had a three month break from everything work related before they had to start preparing for this world tour. This break was the longest that they had had. All the Lads were thankful for it, except for Liam.
Liam did not like going home on his breaks; he knew his father awaited for him. He also knew that he could not complain or show that he did not want to go home like the other boys always did. If he said anything about wanting to spend more time working on the album, the Lads would get suspicious. Liam did not want the Lads knowing anything about this. Yes, he trusted them, but he did not want to be a burden to them.
Liam was grateful to be heading back to London for rehearsals for their new world tour. As Liam got ready for the trip back he had dress himself in sweatpants and a hoodie that were much too big on him due to his weaken frame. He had hastily applied concealer to his face, neck, and hands to cover the bruises that showed there as he quickly picked up his bags and ran into a taxi as he on his way back.
About thirty minutes outside of London, Liam immediately began panicking. He didn't know if he was ready to face his bandmates. He knew they were catching onto that something is wrong every time. Since every time he would come back, when one of them tries to hug him, he always steps away. Liam knew that he should tell them what is going on, but once again he did not want to be a burden. Liam wanted to be protected and loved, but every one he loves either abuses him or leaves him.
Liam finally made it into the house that all five of them lived in. They all had a chance to move out and get their own house and all, but all of them wanted to stay together. The relationship the five had was more than friends. They all were dating each other. No one knew this, not even Paul. The Lads did not want anyone to know until it was the right time and when they all wanted to be out in the world. He made it into house without being seen. Thank goodness.
Before he knew it, Liam felt something collide with his back, knocking the wind out of his lungs causing him to fall to his hands and knees on the ground with a loud whimper.
"Love!! How are you?? I have miss you" Louis yelled while rolling off of Liam. Liam was gasping trying to get air back into his lungs and slow down his frantically beating heart. His back felt like it was on fire from where Louis had jumped on his bruised back, his knees would have fresh bruises as well.
"Li, are you okay?" Louis finally took notice of Liam's discomfort. Worried about how he hurt his boyfriend, Louis started to look Liam up and down and check for injuries, but not before Liam back away.
"I'm good, Love. You just startled me." Liam managed to say
Liam knew that the Lads would never really hurt him; but he started to panic. He could feel the twinge of tears in the back of his eyes, though he didn't know why, the fall didn't really hurt that much. He had obviously just been through so much worse.
