The two of them stopped in front of the grand Cartier shop with large glass doors. Lia pushed them open with Yeji following them behind her. "Oh, Ms.Lia and Ms.Yeji, welcome! I've searched for you online and your pieces are magnificent", the man said
"Thank you very much", Lia smiled curtly
"Right this way, our director is expecting you", the staff lead them towards the back of the shop and knocked on a door
"Come in!", a deep voice called out
The staff opened the door for the girls and closed it behind them. "Good afternoon sir", Lia greeted the director as they both took a seat across him.

"Welcome Ms.Lia and Ms.Yeji. Now I have come to hear that you are dressing Bridget Evans for the Lonshine Gala. And I assume you're aware that if Ms.Evans wears a Cartier piece to the Gala, we'll let the museum keep it for display for 24 hours. Now may I show you some options that are Cartier's pride?", he said reaching for the catalog book

"No need sir, me and Ms.Evans have already decided we want her to wear The Cartier Royal Pearl Necklace", Lia smiled
The director drew in a sharp breath, "There are certain logistical problems with that necklace. We aren't sure how to insure it, that's why we retrieved it from the museum and stored it back in our vault. Maybe we could show you other necklaces?"
"No need sir, we're quite firm on that necklace", Lia showed him a tight smile

"Tell me anything that could possibly make me agree to lend you the necklace", the director sat back
"Well personally I have always admired Cartier. But there is a whole generation out there that mispronounces your name", Lia tried convincing him
"French can be difficult", the director shrugged

"Not really. Now what good would it provide Cartier for a multi-million dollar necklace to be sitting, dusting away in a vault? When it could go viral all over the world on Bridget Evan's ample bossom?", Lia replied in grammatically-correct French
Yeji looked at her best friend and raised an eyebrow. She simply added, "Oui"

"It's very deep down here isn't it?", Yeji asked as they walked down the stairs towards the vault
The man nodded, "All cement. Ah, we've arrived, please wait here"

The two girls waited for a while and the man emerged from the vault carrying a case. He placed it on the table in front Yeji and Lia and opened it. Both girls' eyes widened as the large, shining necklace was presented in front of them. Lia reached into her purse and pulled out the special glasses. She put them on and clicked the power button. Big red text displayed in front of her eyes, 'no signal'

She coughed and slowly lowered the glasses to let Yeji see. The both of them stood still for a moment until Yeji suddenly said, "You wanted to see it in the light. You wanted to see the necklace in light"
"But this is light", the man replied
"Oh no, I mean real light yes real light. I must have the sun", Lia nodded slowly

"Is this enough light for you Ms.Lia?", he asked as the group emerged onto the ground floor
Lia spotted the windows that showed the sidewalk outside, "Yes, well we have the sun"

She put on her glasses again and clicked the power button. To her relief, the glasses displayed text that read, 'ready'
She double clicked the power button again and it started scanning the necklace in front of her. Yeji held her breathe as she watched her friend get closer to the necklace trying to make sure everything was scanned. The man asked Yeji, "Is she okay?"

"Yeah, she just needs to take it in", Yeji replied calmly
The glasses showed about 90% of the necklace was scanned. The man spoke, "Ms.Lia, if you're done we need to take this back to the vault"
"Just a second, I'm almost done absorbing it's energy", Lia answered
Yeji discreetly giggled, amused at her friend's acting. The percentage painstakingly went up slowly, digit by digit.

"I'm done, thank you very much. I'll return to Ms.Evans and tell her the necklace is perfect", Lia told the man
"Glad to help. Please do come again ladies. Farewell!"
And with that Lia and Yeji left the shop arm in arm.

"They're back! Great job on getting it scanned. The machine's already in the process of printing out the copy", Yuna said as Yeji and Lia entered the house
Everyone was gathered around the machine that was connected to Taehyun's computer. They watched as the laser made a hard copy of the necklace.
"This might take a while, it'll probably be done by tomorrow morning. Let's just get on with whatever else we're doing," Taehyun said
