4 Hours later , everything was still a mess.
Changbin and Minho were the ones waiting at the hospital. It worried them both a lot although the doctor had informed them that both the siblings were stable and out of danger.
She told them that Izumi had fainted because of the sudden shock and trauma. The situation was stressful and the sudden shock had resulted in low blood pressure, rapid pulse and dizziness which ultimately caused her to faint and about Jeongin, he was apparently pushed with Bosentan , which is usually used to treat high BP but excessive amount can make one faint. He would be okay though.
While they were here , Chan was at work collecting evidences and alibis . He noted what Park Kyunghee told him earlier while Yeonjun and Ryujin were keeping an eye on Seungmin.
" Miss Park Kyunghee is your name , right? I suppose you are Ara's friend, you were in our engagement. What is your daughter's name?" Chan asked looking at the kid softly, whatever she saw today would definitely leave an impression her .
"Oh yes, Ara and I are colleagues . Her name is Park Ha Eun and she's six."
"Why were you here and how did you find out Mr.Jeongin?"
"Seungmin and I were in the same middle school and recently found out his whereabouts via Lee Know, actually I recognized Izumi at your engagement ..I had seen her pictures. So, I thought meeting an old friend would be nice but this was beyond expecting." She sighed. " I guess this is what happens when your mental problems come back."
"Excuse me? What?"
"Oh I am talking about Seungmin's anger issues but what he did is horrifying. This one time he broke a boy's leg just because he lost in a game of UNO, that was in middle school."
These revelations blowed Chan's mind. He noted that they might need a psychiatrist to deal with Seungmin.
"Actually Haeun had drank too much milkshake that Seungmin gave her ..we were talking and catching up but Haeun nudged me to say that she needs to use the washroom. Seungmin told her the way but she got confused ."
"Ha eun, can you tell me what happened next?" Chan asked her in the least intimidating way possible. The girl looked at her mother , visibly scared but seeing Kyunghee nodding assuringly , she opened up.
"Uncle, I thought it was the washroom but by mistake I went inside the washroom and saw that an oppa was tied like in movies so I ran back inside and asked mumma...to help me find the washroom . "
The child seemed be pretty intelligent.
" After mumma took me to the washroom, I whispered everything to her."
"You did good! I am proud of you." Chan gave her a high five which made her smile although she still looked very much scared.
"Alright, thank you so much for today. We might need you later too, hope you don't mind co-operating with us."
"Sure, we will always help," Kyunghee bowed and so did Chan before parting their ways.
"Sir, Mr. Han Jisung is already here." Yeonjun peeked inside the room , startling Chan.
"Oh, please give him all the details of the case and take him to Seungmin . I will ask Ryujin to update in the records that Han Jisung is appointed as the psychiatrist to see and check any mental conditions that Seungmin might have which can influence these actions." Chan asked Yeonjun who nodded.
"By the way, any updates from them about Jeongin and Izumi?" Yeonjun asked as he was about to leave.
Chan shaked his head dejectedly.
"If there is something I will definitely inform you."
It wasn't until another hour before the doctors informed that Izumi had gained her consciousness and that he was allowed to meet her. Changbin let Minho go inside first, he could tell that Minho was dead worried about everything.
As soon as Minho went inside the ward, he was overwhelmed, the fear of losing Izumi had finally kicked in when Izumi glanced at him from the hospital bed.
Unknown to him, tears clouded his vision and Minho straight up embraced Izumi who was still processing Minho's actions. He made sure to be as gentle as possible as he placed a kiss on her crown.
" How are you feeling?" Minho asked softly.
"I don't know...min, how is Jeongin? Is he okay? "
"Yes, he is okay but they will keep him in observation for today."
"Oh" Izumi looked relieved. "W-What happened to-"
"He is in for questioning now." Minho sighed as he saw Izumi nodding half-heartedly, tears welling up again. " It will be okay soon, someday."
Minho caressed her head as Izumi rested her head on his shoulder as she let him comfort her, she was tired of pretending to be strong and Minho allowed her to break down.
"Min, am I not a good friend?"
"You are an amazing friend! Don't listen to that dipshit." Minho exclaimed dramatically. "Look at Yeonjun, Changbin, Chan, Ryujin, Hyunjin..they all love you."
"Min...did you tell Reina?"
''Yes, she's okay now. Infact she will he visiting Jeongin today."
"Were you here alone? All this while?"
"No no, Changbin is waiting outside to meet you, should I call him?"
"Yep but min, is it okay if...if I stay over at yours today? " Izumi asked hesitantly.
"Of course you can !"
"It's just that I don't want to be alone in the house..I feel like the events from today will keep haunting me and-"
"You don't have to justify." Minho stated sternly. "The fact that you are my girlfriend and I love you is a reason more than enough. Okay? Okay."
Izumi let out a small smile before Minho called Changbin in and the boy almost stubbed his toe while rushing in the room and ask Izumi hundreds of questions about how she's feeling and everything.
Changbin was the type of person who could make people feel at ease, no matter what the situation was. So, as Minho was doing all the formalities of Izumi's discharge, Changbin was sitting next to her , keeping her engaged in talks and distracting her as much as could.
"No Changbin, You can not have chocolate on a pizza! It sounds illegal!" Izumi giggled .
"But it's not illegal and I am tempted to try it out!" Changbin whined.
Minho glanced at them , smiling to himself as changbin managed to make her feel much better with his banter. He took a mental note to thank him later .
Oh, how much Minho loved her.
