Most of the guards started running to get him, and the rest stood in their places, making sure that Thaila wouldn't run away too.
-AGH! HE RAN AWAY!- yelled one of the guards
-But we have her, and I know the right solution for this situation.- said another guard, nodding his head slowly.
~At the torturing place, Lion's city~
-Do double torture to this girl, and make sure you ask her what her little boyfriend whispered.- said the same guard
-As you wish sir- said one of the women there, she looked at the poor girl and got an idea
~After about two minutes~
-Follow me, come on!- said the woman, running, trying to save the girl from torture
-Why would you do this, you work here, you would get in serious trouble!- said Thaila, worried about the woman
Her white, a little bit dirty dress with a shining grey corset was not helping her. She looked amazing, but she couldn't really run. It was too tight to her body, so she couldn't really move and run. But she gave the best, she took her dress up so that she wouldn't step on it.
-I would rather get tortured than to torture people.- said the woman, looking back to see if Thaila is running after her
After few minutes of non-stop running, they finally came to a secret exit of the city that nobody knew, not even the guards.
-Thank you so much miss!- Thaila thanked the woman that saved her
-Anytime.- said the woman, winking and running back
Thaila knew why she winked, she meant that the woman is now her hero, that she will do everything to save her from torturing, and she was right, that's what the woman was thinking.
~when she arrived home~
-Oh no, they took everything from the house, except the clothes and a bed. Guess I'll have to take care of it.- spoke Thaila to herself, not knowing what to do.
-Wait! It's almost sunset!- snapped Thaila, quickly getting ready and going outside, by the river, sitting on the soft green grass.
The sun was slowly going down, but it was still very hot, because it was summer. The sky would always remind her of her mother, because her father would always talk about her, and once said that her mother really loved the sky, whenever it was day or night.
And then tears ran through her soft, pink cheeks. She lost everyone she ever loved, at least talked to and got super close. Her mother, her father and Alex. She was really scared about her father and Alex, thinking that they got caught.
-No, no, no! Don't think of that! They are okay!- yelled Thaila to herself, tucking her hair, just like when she met Alex. Then she would replay what all happened between them, how his hair looked amazing on him, how his eyes were so deep and mysterious, just how he was perfect. She obviously had a crush on him, and he did too, but they were too busy to say that.
After one hour of replaying the memories with Alex, she thought that she maybe likes him. She blushed really hard and smiled. But then, her smile faded away.
-This one will hurt a lot.- she whispered to herself, thinking again about the memories
It was still sunset, when she saw a person, a shadow. She thought that it was Alex, and ran to the shade.
As soon as she saw who it is, she felt guilt fill her.
-Oh no, how can I forget about my father!- Thaila thought in herself while hugging her father.
-Awww, did you miss me?- asked Andreas, looking at his daughter
-No, not at all.- joked Thaila, even that she knew that she didn't miss him that much
-You are joking, aren't you?- asked Andreas in a playful tone while tickling Thaila
-Noo! Please stop! It tickles!- Thaila told her father
-Well, that is the point of tickling!- said her father, putting his hands down
-I am sleepy, can we go to sleep?- asked Thaila, lying, so that she would just stay a little away from her father, because she was full with guilt.
-You can go to sleep, I will do some stuff that I learned from the city.- said her father, hugging his daughter once again.
-Okay. Good night!- said Thaila, going inside
-Sweet dreams my dear.- Andreas yelled a little, so that she would hear him
~The next day~
Thaila had an awful dream, about losing everyone and marrying a boy from the city.
-Ugh, I could finally wake up! I had an awful dream!- said Thaila, looking at her father
Andreas was sitting outside, by the little river, thinking about something. So, Thaila decided to get closer and ask him if anything is wrong
-Hey father. Are you okay?- asked Thaila, worried
-Nothing, I just think that something is wrong. I feel like you had a problem or a situation, and did not tell me.- her father finally told what he felt like
Oh no, he maybe found out. But how. He is my father, my parent, he always knows if anything is wrong.
-So, I don't know how to tell you something.- Thaila tried to make her father think of the worst things, so that when he hears he wouldn't be that mad or scared
-Go on, I'm listening.
-While you were gone, I met a boy and we got in trouble. The guards found us, but he ran away. They wanted to make me tell them by doing double torture, but a woman there helped me run away.-explained Thaila, feeling relief
-Mhm, anything between you two? That boy and you?- asked her father, playing
-Father! That's not the problem! He is gone missing and the guards are looking for him. We made a promise that one sunset when I will be waiting for him, he will come.- now Thaila felt a lot better
-Okay, but, do you like him?- asked her father again, raising an eyebrow
-Well- I- Uh-... I think I do.- answered Thaila, not knowing what will happen
-Okay, that's fine. It's totally okay!- said Andreas
-Wait really? You are okay with that?- asked Thaila, not believing what her father just said
-Yes. I am sure. Now go bring me the bag to teach you how to make clothes.- said her father, pointing at a nice fancy bag next to the little window in their house
-Of course, my dear father. I love you so so much.- jumped Thaila, bringing the bag
The next few hours they spent it all together. Thaila learned a lot of stuff, until...
-It's sunset! I just hope I will not wait a long time for him to appear as soon as possible!- jumped Thaila, acting like a eight year old girl
-You are just like your mother.- said her father, putting his hand on his face.
