There was exactly three days until the second trial.

Three days for Marie Curie to spend her time figuring out the water business from just a few hours ago.

Although she wouldn't have much time to think as sea nymphs started coming in. Marie couldn't complain. She was a part of the half that made it to the second trial, and they were having a celebration for the ones who made it. And as far as she knew, that Rainbow Dash girl was also in confusion. Apparently she was that Greek goddess who had to hide from the world for 2,520 years, and then went ahead and stopped her aunt from destroying the world by bringing her out of a possessed state. And possessed states are things Marie was now interested in.

Now, as to where Hestia was, Marie didn't know.

But now as she stood, her hair swept up and held back with diamond pins, her body clothed in a shimmering ebony silk dress, her eyes darkened by the work of the nymphs, she realized that there were probably rules put in place.

But rules could sometimes be broken.

Swiftly, Marie walked down the halls of the crystal palace as the sun set, watching through the crystal walls as Aphrodite-the Greek goddess of love and beauty-tugged as Rainbow Dash's hair. A real tomboy, as Athena had said.

Marie quickly turned her head as she kept walking, finding a door that was plain white.

The money door.

Silently, she pushed down the handle and saw a woman with flaming hair, fiery red eyes, but seemed entranced at the screen she was looking at, of a little girl saying goodbye to her parents before going through a green whirlpool.

"Who-who are you?" the woman gasped, snapping out of her trance.

"I'm so sorry," Marie said, backing away before stopping. "Wait, you're Hestia, right? Goddess of home and the hearth?"

"Yes," Hestia said.

"So..." Marie looked around, noticing the little screens everywhere in the dull room. "What is this place?"

"A place to help me learn what I missed," Hestia sighed. "I made a terrible set of mistakes while I was possessed."

"Well, what was it like?" Marie asked.

"Strange," Hestia said. "It felt like someone else was controlling me and my powers, and I was forced to watch it happen. Anyway, who are you?"

"Uh..." Marie temporarily forgot who she was. "I'm Marie Curie, scientist of the 19th century who discovered polonium and radium."

Hestia blinked a couple times.

"I should be seeing you soon, then," Hestia said, turning back to the largest screen with the parents watching the spot where the little girl had left, going back into her trance as Marie quickly slipped away, colliding with Joan of Arc, in colorful clothing, her short cropped hair laced with golden stars.

"Well, what were you doing in there?" Joan asked.

"Um..." Marie replied. "I don't know. Nothing's in there."

The lie was unexpected, but she wasn't about to spill about her findings about Hestia.

"Well, we should be going," Joan said, revealing silver studs in her ears. "I have a feeling they're going to show footage from the first trial."

"Like I wanna see myself on screen," Marie chuckled as the two walked away.

She was totally going back to Hestia again, in secret.
