Trigger warnings for abuse, mental illness, violence and addiction
Mental Health They're prone to bouts of depression that sometimes impact their ability to even get out of bed. They're also a pathological liar, sometimes they just can't help it.
Scars/Distinctive markings In their true form, they have horns and a pointed tail like you'd expect from a demon. They're able to switch between their demon and human form and anything in between. They also have a physically female form although they don't typically use it.
Bad Habits Lying, falling "in love" and thinking someone is the greatest person to ever live only to completely drop it in a week or so, forcing down any negative emotions until they overwhelm them
Other They collect glass spiders.
History Max, like many demons, was born from a single, traumatic event. They were born from the murder of a woman behind a bar in Boston. The crime was committed in front of the woman's child. From her blood, they emerged, young and dumb and scared. The little boy who had been hiding behind a dumpster screamed and the demon's heart twisted. Still unsure what to do, they comforted the boy. They are a demon and they do demon things such as making deals with small children. In exchange for a home and care, they would avenge the boy's mother. The boy agreed and Max went to live with him and his grandmother after killing the murderer. Twenty-five years later, Max still lives in the apartment that the boy (now a grown man named Caleb) pays for. They make deals with other humans and occasionally just do things to mess with them. Don't let their baby-face fool you, they're very dangerous. As of now, Caleb is the only human they care about. If anyone tries to hurt him or his family, they will go into rage mode.
