3d person POV:
the sins, Elizabeth, Hawks, and (y/n) all sat on top of a doctors roof. apparently the doctor had poisoned Meliodas but also died afterwards. to apologize he was throwing a party for the group. Elizabeth was lying in a makeshift travel bed the doctor had lying around sense her injury's were way to bad to have her standing with the others. "Elizabeth there's someone we want you to meet. Elizabeth this is Ban the fox sin of greed" Meliodas said while gesturing to Ban. "yo" the fox sin said coolly as he had an arm wrapped around (y/n)'s shoulders much to the other two sins displeasure. "Ban where did you get those new clothes?" Meliodas asked. "I found them" he replied. (y/n) scoffed and rolled her eyes with a smile. "more like stole" she said. Ban looked at her and smirked. "I can't go parading around naked in front of a princess and my princess can I?" he said. Ban's gaze moved to Diane as the giant looked the other way. "long time no see Diane" he said. Diane made a "hmp" noise and didn't meet his gaze. "I could have gone 1000 years without seeing you again Ban" she said, to which (y/n) and Meliodas chuckled.
Ban walked over to Elizabeth with his hands in his pockets. "forgive me for not rising to greet you" she said. Ban just smiled and shrugged his shoulders. "no need for all that fancy stuff your highness. let's all just be friends here, the 5 of us" he said. "actually there's 6" a voice said. Ban looked at his captain and smiled. "captain are you blind? there's 6 of us" he said. Meliodas didn't respond instead he just walked over to (y/n) and grabbed her hand, giving it a little squeeze. "no there's 6!" the voice said again. Ban whipped his head in every direction to try and see the person who was speaking. "who's there!?" he said. "down here" Ban looked down to see Hawks standing right in front of him by his knees. "me" the pig said. Ban's eyes widened and he jumped backwards. "THERE'S A TALKING PIG?!?!" he yelled. "oh I get it! your King right? you ate so much you finally turned into a real life pig!" Ban said laughing at the end. "wrong again" Diane said. "King's supposed to be dead, according to rumors" Meliodas said. "I'll have you know I'm not just any ordinary pig, I'm sir Hawks! order of scrapes disposal" Hawks said proudly. Ban smiled and his eyes grew stars in them. "wow I've never heard of such an order" he said amazed.
(y/n) smiled and closed her eyes tightly. she was being her usual mean self. tormenting (y/n) about how she failed her only job. normally this would have sent (y/n) into a panic attack but this time she was keeping her cool. all of a sudden she felt someone pull her arm. she opened her (e/c) eyes to see Meliodas smiling at her and pointing at the table full of food made by the doctor and his daughter. (y/n) gave him a small smile and nodded, the two of them running over to the table along with Ban and Hawks.

The rest of the night had been filled with joy and laughter. Meliodas had fed Elizabeth, Diane, and (y/n) grapes, Ban and (y/n) had a drinking contest, Ban forgetting that (y/n) literally can't get drunk no matter what she drinks, and the three girls talking about everything and anything. The night had also been filled with the 3 sins + Elizabeth trying to get (y/n)'s friends attention and in a way, it worked.
Ban was now lying on Hawks back totally waisted as the pig screamed for someone to help him but no one did. Meliodas was lying on the ground, Elizabeth was lying in her bed, Diane was leaning up against the roof of the building, and (y/n) was hovering in the air, starting to get sleepy. Suddenly a gasp was heard from behind the group and along with whispers. "Oh look papa! Look at the stars!" the doctors daughter said while pointing at the sky. The sins + others looked up at the sky and gasped themselves. The stars were forming X's in the sky, shooting across the dark void of the night sky like little fireflies. (Y/n) had a bitter smile as she looked at the stars. "I remember someone telling me about when stars are like that" she said.
"when shooting stars fill the night sky in the form of crosses, Britannia will face her most desperate hour. this is a trial, preordained since ancient times, and will herald the beginning of a Holy War between the guiding hand of the light and the bloodline of the darkness."

It was the dead of night. Everyone was asleep except for one. (Y/n) slowly stood up and hovered towards the sleeping Elizabeth. The princess's slow and calm breaths calming (y/n)'s nerves. The girl put her hands out over Elizabeth's heart and sighed, her palms glowing a dim white light healing the injured princess. "There, all better" she said in a low whisper. (Y/n) stretched and hovered back over to where she was sleeping, until a pair of arms wrapped around her bringing he to the ground. (Y/n) looked over to see Meliodas looking at her tiredly. "Sorry Meli, did I wake you?" she asked. Meliodas shook his head slightly and frowned. "No, but you should really be focusing on yourself more (y/n). Elizabeth can heal her body naturally" Meliodas replied in a whisper. (Y/n) looked down and nodded. "Sorry, I just can't stand the thought that she might be hurt" she said. Meliodas sighed and hugged (y/n). "It's to early, just go to sleep (n/n) everything's okay. I got you now." he said. (Y/n) nodded and returned the hug, slowly falling into dream land once more.

Meliodas was awake the whole time watching (y/n) heal Elizabeth with a glare directed at the the princess's sleeping body!
