Chapter 14 : Believe Me or Not

still Armin's POV

"Levi looked like he could start a war if anyone shot Armin," I blushed at Pieck's blabbering. She sure is right. I chose not to respond and to listen to their conversation.

The game began awhile ago and we finished off with five rounds. Guess what? We didn't win. Well, we lacked of strategy. It was a 1-5 ratio. 1-4 were the scores. We only got a point once. Actually, it was pretty obvious that we wouldn't win considering our plan flops easily.

"Shut the fuck up." Levi glared at her, Pieck then returned the gesture by sticking her tongue out in a joking manner.

Who would've thought that the most two cold people (in my opinion), Levi and Pieck, are joking around and chasing on one another right now.

Seriously, it's fun seeing them this childish.

It's fun to go back to being that bratty teen-ager from the old days.

I let out a sigh, knowing that the teen-ager me won't be coming back.

So, we watch in silence while the two adults, Levi and Pieck, throw up their middle finger to each other as Levi chased Pieck, like they were those little kids running around (specifically talking about me, Eren and Mikasa when we were kids).

Sooner, I was the only one walking alone the street back home. My house is farther from the forest than Mikasa's, and it's ridiculous. Everyone stays at Mikasa considering she has a big house, and even I could just stay with them but I insisted on going back to my house.

What's more ridiculous is I'll be going back to boring times. See, I have nothing to do there. I can't go back and just knock on Mikasa's door saying "Oh no I realised it's so boring there so I wanna stay here" and be the historical creep I always am. Besides, I'm nearly there, it would be a waste of time.

I'm so lost in thoughts that I almost tripped with that bump on the ground and went flying and kissing the pavement.

I actually hoped I tripped so that my mouth will break and I'll have a reason to stay away from the world for awhile, then I'll be a wanted missing person. A nice way to grab attention and to be famous for once in your life.

I read the notification as I watched Doraemon. Yeah yeah, I know it's childish of me to still watch that show but it's so entertaining that I didn't notice I was watching for about...a million hours.

I decided to call Levi back. I mean, something might've happened to my boyfriend and it's my responsibility to know.

After about three rings, Levi finally answered.

"Fucking finally Armin, where are you? Why didn't you answer my calls? Are you okay?"

"Ah, chill Levi, I'm at home. I got so busy watching some Doraemon that I didn't notice you called me. And yes, I'm okay."

"Well, do you mind coming over here? Please? Fucking four-eyes won't stop bothering me and it's so boring over here."

"Okay, look, I can't go out be-"

"And why? Care to explain? I'm being fucking paranoid now."
