So, if you follow my profile, you'll see that I posted a entry for the "Of Monsters And Us" writing contest.
The story takes place in the past with the two princess/queen, and how the past Emilia dies.
I really don't want to spoil too many things here, but I wanted to write this mini summery for the story here, along with a few ideas that didn't make the final cut(because I had too many words).
Basically, past Emilia and Isla's mother died(for a reason I will write about at some point in the story), and Emilia is the new queen. A few weeks after, Celestial beings(more precisely Myrmidons and Daylight shades) attacked on their kingdom, because the gate(Energy Ritual) fell. Why?
(SPOILERS)
Because their mother died. If you read chapter one, you'll know that the queen was the one who force-rebirthed past Emilia and Isla. It takes two-three months for the force rebirth to have the full effect on them.

During these months, the monsters attack, the two end up having to move their kingdom to the woods. Then, some Daylight Shades decided to attack at that moment, which is when the leader of all celestial beings apparently "kidnaps" Emilia, and forces her to play a game, in order to free their mother's spirit, which it has captured for her magic. Emilia eventually dies in during the game, and that's the end.
Random notes:
Originally, I wanted to make three phrases of the game, but I ended up at 980 words already and so I cut it out.
Oh, and you know how Emilia dies but Isla doesn't, right?
Yeah, that's why she's older in the present time.
