Beeeeep. I heard, as I landed hard in a narrow, black room. The white light in front of it shone temptingly. I was pulled to it's light, after falling through a pitch black tunnel.

Yet, I was able to peel myself away.

I turned around, only to see a black wall. Oily liquid slid down the walls all around me.

I dared not look behind me, at the white door.

Then, the wall in front of me began to change.

It showed a blue hospital bed. And I was on it.

How did I even get there?

The picture faded back into the black, murky wall.

Then, I heard a voice echo through the room.

Enter the door, darling. it said. You must...then you will have freedom.

I warily turned around, and faced the glowing rectangle. My eyes lingered on it, as I turned back around.

"No," I said.

Darling, you cannot choose.

I put my hand on the leaking black wall.

"What did I say before?" I responded. My hand went right through the wall.

"Goodbye, strange voice. I am not leaving today," and I pushed through the wall.

. . . . . . . . . .

I blinked rapidly through the small tent I was in. My vision was blurry, before I could make out the nurses and doctors rushing around my room. One rushed to me, and cried, "The patient is awake!"

I breathed heavily, still shaking from what had happened.

Before I knew it, Isla had burst into the room, her eyes red from crying.

"Emilia! What happened? Why did you do that?" I tried to speak, but I couldn't.

The same nurse shooed her out of the room.

"Miss Emilia is still recovering. She will be discharged tomorrow, if nothing else goes wrong." Isla relecuntly left the room.

I stared straight at the top of the mini tent that covered my head.

What happened?

That question kept echoing in my head. All I knew was that it wasn't supposed to happen.

And who was that voice, there in the black void's end?

Before I could think any further, I fell back into unconsciousness.

. . . . . . . . . .

It was like I was in a black hole.

I heard the door creak open. I heard a nurse's shoes click, and then walk away.

Then, someone walked in.

"The patient is under a coma. We don't know when she will wake up yet," She said.

I tried to move, but I couldn't. It was like I was chained in that black space.

I heard crying, that came from..."Isla," I thought, tears in my eyes.
