I ran through the neighborhood, not caring one bit about onlookers. I ran until the trees of the park were black silhouettes, and the houses were toys.

I ran, until I needed to stop for air.

I didn't know what to do.

I stopped, breathing heavily, staring back at the ocean of houses, and sighed.

Now, where would I stay? I looked around at my options.

1. Run into the forest. Risks are the wild animals.

2. Stay here for the night, on the streets. Risks: no idea what will happen.

3. Go back to the hospital. Risks: I already left, so people will get suspicious.

4. Go back to Isla. Risks: ...

Yeah, let's not do the fourth one.

I ran, in no exact direction.

Dawn would soon fall, and after, night.

I was safe nowhere.

I just went...wherever my legs took me.

I watched the black pavement beneath my feet turn to a rocky, unpaved road.

I kept running.

My heart pounded, not only from running, but from worry and fright.

I slowed my pace, and walked for a little longer.

The sun's rays had stopped beating down on me, and had dipped behind the white peaked mountains yet again.

I looked up. I was surrounded by green. The grass blew, as the wind whispered goodnight to all the people below.

Something grey caught my eye.

I squinted, trying to make out whatever it was.

Getting closer, I could see something wrecked, made of stone.

The sun reflected on it, making the shine unbearable for my eyes.

Whatever this used to be, it was grand. Grey rocks were scattered as far as my eyes could see, with fallen columns and beams here and there. In the distance was a box-shaped item. It was held up by a few beams, and it seemed like the only thing that was not destroyed.

I hopped up on a lower beam, surprising myself at my agility.

I jumped up the beams with ease, like a staircase. The doorway had crashed, leaving a large hole in the place where the door used to be.

I stepped into the room.

It looked new, unlike the rest of the ruined castle.

The bed was covered in dust, but I could see the duvet was a royal red color. The bedframe was wood.

There was a door behind the vanity table, which I peered down at.

Whoa, talk about a long fall.

Though I didn't want to hurt myself, my subconsciousness overtook my body and led me straight toward the door frame.

Of course it did.

It just so happened to be stubborn like that, and not listen to my brain scream, STOP! DANGER!

Anyway...I jumped down.

I hit the ground with miraculously no injuries.

Taking a glance around at my surroundings, I realized I was in a garden.
