Zak and I both have been experiencing strange things in our separate households.
Zak is. Ding dragged out of his bed by forces unknown and me.... Well I did have a clean house until someone decided it would be a good idea to trash my kitchen, tear my couches and flip, breaking, my coffee table. Zak had organised for us both have an exorcism and a house exorcism too. There then comes a knock at my door and I answer it.
"Archbishop Long!" I gasp.
"Miss Warren, I'm here to help you today."
"Yes come in, please forgive the mess, I have no idea what happened." I explain. He then enters the house and immediately begins to look around.
"I don't like the feeling in here..." He continues to look around. "...you have it the most, when you are sleeping they are awake, when you are awake they rest and reside inside of you. So I think we will do an exorcism on you then the property."
"What about Zak? Is he ok?" I ask.
"I helped him yesterday, he was a difficult job but I managed to rid him of his demons. And his house isn't quite as bad anymore. But his body took quite a beating and he came out the other end very weak and fatigue. Which I'm expecting to happen here today. But don't worry he is fine as will you be. I won't leave here until I know you are ok and safe for when I leave. So we will begin..." Long then escorts me to the other room where there is enough room to do what he needs to do. Lye sits me down on a chair he picks up from the floor and begins. As he says his words, I begin to zone out. It's almost like my soul leaves and I am in white. I say that because it's not a room it's just the colour white, everywhere, endlessly for the rest of time. I can still hear them bishops voice almost like an echo in my brain.
"Tige?" I hear a familiar voice. I turn to see Zak.
"Zak? What are you doing in... well... wherever this is?" I ask.
"Your head? Your happy place. This is your body's way of fighting, kinda like a last resort before death."
"I'm gonna die?" If you chose to come with me." He says. I think for a moment.
"Will you be with me if I chose to?" I ask. Zak smiles sympathetically.
"I'm only in your happy place babe. I didn't die, and to be honest. I would rather you didn't chose to come with me. I would rather you fight for your life to live out with me. Because I want to be with you forever. I love you so much. But my job here in this reality is to give you an ultimatum. You can either, take this door, and go back to living out your life with me..." a door appears behind me. "...and be happy. And hope that our together last for the rest of our lives. Or, you can take my hand, come with me. And live the rest of eternity with your beloved aunt and uncle." Zak then stretches out his hand and offers it to me. I look longingly at his hand wanting to take it and be with my aunt and uncle so badly, but if I do that it means I won't ever see Zak and my friends ever again. But if I do go back, it will be a while before I can reunite with the family I grew up with. The aunt and uncle that raised me as their own.
"I love you Zak, you know that right?" I ask.
"I always have."
"And I don't want you to hate me for the decision I'm about to make ok?"
"I could never hate you."
I look at him and begin to cry. Just then there came a voice from... somewhere."TigerLilly? Are you there? Come back to me."
"It's decision time." I then bursts into tears .
"I can't. I can't do it anymore Zak. I'm so tired and I can't keep going like this. If I decide to go back the first thing to go is the doll. Tell my aunt and uncle I'm sorry." I say. I then stand up and run for the door.
