I get up off the floor, and stumble out of the office and into the museum. It is a lot darker in here than when I arrived. Which given my day so far doesn't surprize me. I look around and can't find Zak anywhere I bump into Aaron who was shocked to see me.
"Oh god! Tiger are you ok?" Aaron asks.
"Yeah where is Zak?" I ask.
"He said he was going somewhere. To take Sally home I think." He says. I widen my eyes and run out the museum and into my car. Completely forgetting I have my P.O.V camera on my shoulder. I race over to Sally's house that is on the other side of the town. Speaking out loud.
"Please don't be. Sally please don't be that bitch." I arrive at house and rush out of the car. I run up to her door to see a sight that stabbed me so hard in the chest I almost lost my breath. Both Zak and Sally embraced in a kiss. The way his hands grasp her face, and pull her closer to him. The way his lips caress hers. Her hands gripping tightly on the back of his shirt. That should be me. Trying so hard not to cry I clear my throat to grab their attention. Zak steps back wiping his mouth.
"Tige!"
"Zak." I scowl.
"What are you doing here?" He asks.
"I should ask you the same question."
"Your phone rang Sally says you usually take her home but you were sleeping. I didn't want to disturb you so I took her home." Zak explains.
"Did she also need mouth to mouth?"
"I don't see the problem. You're not his girlfriend." Sally says.
"Be quiet! The grown ups are talking." I snap.
"Tiger!" Zak scowls.
"You..." I point to Sally. "...You're fired. For being inappropriate and you..." I look at Zak.
"You gonna fire me too?" He says with attitude. I pull my face of a displease, unfazed manor.
"No. I just expected better from you." I say. Zak lowers his head in shame. "Now if you don't mind. We have a lockdown to do." I say. I then walk away, Zak chases after me. All while Sally's voice can be heard calling after him.
"Tige Wait! Why are you mad at me?" He asks.
"I don't know maybe because you were kissing my ex new employee who is 20years old might I add." I look at Zak trying not to be angry at him. "Is this what you do when all of your friends are sleeping in your office? While your team sets up for your investigation? You just find the next girl to fuck?" I ask.
"No I don't"
"Really? Well you sure are convincing." I say opening my door.
"TigerLilly... I'm sorry."
"Hey, we all make mistakes." I say getting into the car and driving away. I then talk to the camera. "Hey to anyone out there listening. A word of advice from me to you. Don't fall in love with your best friend. The shit sucks." I head home and get changed for lockdown, putting on something a little more appropriate.
