REIN HAD NEVER BEEN MORE TERRIFIED, YET RELIEVED, IN HER ENTIRE LIFE. What terrified her the most was that Aster wasn't aloud to enter the Limbrey home with her. As much as she despised the blonde, she would've felt a lot more comfortable with her by her side. She was relieved that she had found the Limbrey lady and was welcomed into her home, though.
It was horrible to think that she was entering the same house that captured and overworked so many people just because of the color of their skin. Rein hated the thought of standing on the same ground as some wealthy white person that held so much more privilege just by the pale skin tone they wore.
Rein was disgusted to say the least.
Nearing the living area of the house, the brunette's eyes set on a blonde lady sipping a cup of tea. The lady quickly perked up at the notice of Rein standing near the doorway waiting to be invited in.
Pulling the tea cup from her pink painted lips, Limbrey waved the girl over. "You must be Rhiannon." She greeted with a cheshire smile.
"Rein, actually." The brunette corrected, hating the way her full name sounded coming from anyone's mouth.
"My apologies. Carla Limbrey, pleasure to meet you, Rein." She introduced, holding her hand for a handshake.
Rein hesitantly walked further into the room and connected her hand with the older lady's. She had no clue what to do after she entered the home, she never imagined she would actually get that far.
