We went home from the capitol and Dion is still wearing his serious facial expression up until now. Maybe he's regretting his life decisions on challenging Duke Ebony? I can't blame him, because his decision was quite impulsive.
"Dion." I thought that he would at least loosen his face up, but I guess I was wrong. "Uh... Are you alright?" I asked with my arms crossed leaning my back against the door frame. "Shouldn't I be asking you that?"
"Huh?"
"Tell me, Aesira. You had the first-hand experience from his disrespectful act, so I'm asking you if you're alright."
"Calm down, Dion. I'm quite alright," I assured him as I walked towards his table and sat on the chair facing him.
But when he started looking at my sky filled with achievements and stars, it blinded him. The jealousy blinded him."
Looking at Dion, he is truly a successful noble. A man favored by the empire's imperial family, leading an independent country, and considered as one of the heads of Zephyr's temple. I believe that they are equals, pero mas maraming nakamit si Dion causing his eyes to go blinded by jealousy.
"What's your plan for that horse racing? Go along with Prince Kaiser's plan?" he nodded and answered, "I have no choice, but to accept his offer because I need to use his power to have the track for myself."
"So you're going to practice your horsemanship skills by having a practice match with Prince Kaiser?"
"It is what you think it is, Aesira." I smiled widely as I leaned forward to him. "Do you think that I can practice with you and His Highness?" I asked, my eyes trying to convince him to allow me to race with them. He sighed as he flipped his index finger and said, "One lap."
I need to get at least two laps. It's lower or none. I missed my knight routines pretty bad, and I'd like to have this opportunity to ride again.
I smiled wider as I rested my chin on my intertwined fingers and requested a higher lap, "Make it three." He put his fingers down and leaned back to his chair as he crossed his arms, "Two laps. That's final."
"It's okay. I planned to have at least two laps, anyway." He stood up and walked behind me as he patted my shoulder and said, "It's getting late, Aesira. We're early for tomorrow."
