I decided to explore the island with Nagito as he is the person who I am closest with in this island apart from Hajime.

And I also feel like I've known him for forever...

We entered the cinema and saw Monokuma

"Welcome!" The bear greeted, "I present to you...the movie theater!"

No shit sherlock

"The showing will begin in a few minutes so please enter the screening room and wait patiently," Monokuma explained.

"You're showing an actual movie?!"

"Why, of course!" Monokuma laughed, "Here's an invitation ticket," He gave us each a slip of paper, "Please note that the invitation ticket can only be used once, so if you want to watch it again then you have to pay," He explained.

"Well then... Have fun you two!" He disappeared leaving Nagito and me in confusion.

"Guess we should watch it, right, Nagito?" I stared at the said boy who was in deep thought.

"Huh? Oh, yeah sure," I let out a small smile and led Nagito inside the screening room.

I immediately shivered as I didn't expect the room to have air conditioning. Nagito seemed to notice my actions and took off his jacket, handing it to me.

"Oh, I couldn't possibly accept your jacket! You'll get cold!" I shook my head.

"I insist. You need it more than me," We bickered for a while on who'll wear the jacket and in the end, I ended up wearing it.

I slipped on the sleeves to find it going past my hands. Warm blush coated my cheeks as I inhaled the luckster's familiar scent.

He smells like... lemon zest...

"Y/n?" Nagito waved a hand in front of my face to bring me back to reality.

"H-Huh?"

"We should find seats, the showing is about to start," I nodded and we went towards the nearest seats at the back.

We sat beside eachother and stared at the blank screen, our hands almost touching.

I stared at our hands that were mere centimeters apart. I fought the urge to move my hand and intertwine my fingers with his. I sighed and looked away from our hands.

C'mon, Y/n! You don't even know him that well!!

My thoughts were cut off as I felt a sudden warmth on my hand. I looked down to find Nagito's slender fingers intertwined with mine.

My freaking out was cut off by the screen lighting up, with the words: The wizard of Monomi

I diverted my attention from our intertwined hands to the screen that changed to show Monokuma walking with a bunch of elderly people surrounding him.

I silenced all my thoughts and focused on the movie in front of me.

I looked at Nagito who had the same expression that I had.

I giggled, "How adorable,"
