Chapter 13

* time skip *

It's been about a month and a half since me and Michael found out I'm pregnant. We haven't told anyone yet. Me and Luke were getting rid of a bunch of stuff and the boys were over helping. Michael has been overprotective since we found out I'm pregnant. I leaned down to pick up a box to take outside.

Michael: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

Me: "taking a shit, what does it look like?!"

Michael: "i meant why are you doing it!!"

Me: "IM PREGNANT NOT PARALYSED"

Luke: "YOUR WHAT NOW"

Me: "SHIT"

Luke: "your pregnant?!!!"

Me: "yeah..."

Ashton: "better find somewhere to hide, Mike"

Luke: "IM GOING TO BE AN UNCLE"

Me: "didn't expect him to react like that"

Michael: "me either, but I'm still hiding behind you it might be a trick"

Ash: "so your pregnant?!"

Me: "yeah!"

Cal: "how far along?"

Me: "about 10 weeks"

Michael: "he seems calm I'm not going to hide behind you anymore"

Luke: "I'm not going to hurt you unless you hurt Anna"

Michael: "I'd never!!"

Luke: "good. Now when's your first scan? How long have you known?"

Me: "two weeks tomorrow. Known about a month and a half"

Luke: "and you didn't tell me?!!"

Me: "we weren't telling anyone till the scan"

Luke: "thought I was your best friend"

Me: "you are Lucas now move so I can take this outside"

Cal: "you've been holding that the whole time?!"

Ashton: "and it's full of books!"

Me: "I'm stronger than I look"

Luke: "I know that one"

Ash: "what's made him all sad now"

Me: "funny story Luke was pissing me off so punched him- not even that hard- in his arm he fell and fractured his wrist"

Cal: "HE SAID HE DID IT PLAYING BASKETBALL"

Me: "yeah well"

Luke: "right, thanks for that. Now take that box out"

Me: "alright. Don't worry I have plenty more stories to share Luke"

Luke: "please no"

Ash: "how do you have so many?!"

Me: "basically raised the kid"

Ash: "you did?!"

Me: "yep"

Luke: "it's true. She's always looked out for me"

Me: "and I always will, Luke"

* 2 weeks later*

Me and Michael were sat anxiously waiting for my name to be called. I bounced my leg as I fidgeted with Michael's fingers.

"Annabelle Hemmings"

We stood up and followed the nurse through the door. I sat on the bed and lifted my top. The woman came over and grabbed the gel.

"Now it's going to be a bit cold"

She placed the gel on my stomach and started moving the wand around my stomach looking for the baby.

"And there's baby"

We looked up at the screen to see our baby. It was tiny. My eyes clouded with happy tears as Michael grabbed my hand smiling widely.

"Your actually further along than we thought. Your nearly 15 weeks. We can tell the sex if your interested?"

I looked over at Michael shocked and he just nodded his head. I subtly "yes please" left my mouth signalling we want to know the sex.

"It's a boy"

Me: "A boy!!"

Michael: "A son!!"

A few tears fell onto my cheeks, Michael lifted our interlocked hands to wipe away the tears with the pad of his thumb.

"I'll get you a copy of the ultrasound"

Michael: "thank you"

Me: "I can't believe it"

Michael: "me either, baby"

Me: "Luke will want to know"

Michael: "yeah, he will"

"Here you go"

Me: "thank you"

I wiped the gel off my stomach and pulled my top back down. Me and Michael walked out hand in hand smiling. We drove back excited to tell Luke it was a boy. We're going to have a son. We couldn't believe it. A baby boy.
