* a month later *
I woke up with a smile on my face. Today is the day we see our little baby for the first time and the day we tell the boys. I turned around and placed my head on Michaels chest.
Michael: "morning, baby"
His deep morning voice that caused butterflies in my stomach.
Me: "morning, my love"
Michael: "today is the day we see our little baby"
Me: "it is, I can't wait"
Michael: "me either! And we're telling the boys!"
Me: "I know! I can't wait to tell Luke"
Michael: "me either"
I got up and put on a basic leggings and my queen T-shirt (the band) on. I looked in the mirror and could see a slight bump.
Me: "oh my. Love?!"
Michael: "what is it, darling?"
Me: "look! I have a slight bump, love"
Michael: "oh my god. Our little baby"
His hand went to my stomach rubbing slow circles on it. He placed a soft kiss on my stomach.
Michael: "we're going to see you today, little one."
A few happy tears clouded my eyes. I pulled him in for a soft kiss. I pulled my top back down over my stomach and went to brush my teeth. I grabbed some fruit and got in the car to go to have the ultrasound.
We waited anxiously for my name to be called. It didn't help that we got there 10 minutes to early.
"Annabelle Clifford"
Me and Michael stood up holding hands and followed the nurse. I sat on the bed and pulled my top up.
"This is going to be a bit cold"
The nurse placed the gel on my stomach and started looking for the baby.
"There's baby"
Me: "our baby"
Michael: "our little one"
Me: "and everything's okay?"
"Everything's perfectly fine. I'll get you a copy of the ultrasound"
Me: "okay, thank you"
Michael: "I'm so happy"
Me: "me too, love"
We got the ultrasound and headed home to where we waited for Luke, Ashton and Calum to come over. About 20 minutes after they got there we went into the kitchen and Michael went to get something out of the fridge and our plan was inaction.
Michael: "isn't it crazy that Anna's pregnant?"
Luke: "WHAT"
Ash: "OH MY GOD"
Cal: "WHAT?! CONGRATS!"
Luke literally lept out of his stool and gave me the biggest hug. I could feel a few tears fall of his cheeks and onto my top.
Me: "Luke? Are you crying?"
Luke: "maybe. I'm just happy for you both"
Me: "we're happy too, Luke"
Ash: "congratulations you two!!"
Michael: "thank you!!"
Me: "I have the ultrasound pictures in my bag"
Luke: "ILL GET THEM"
He broke free from the hug and quickly went through my bag and found them.
Luke: "so little"
Me: "babies usually are Luke"
Cal: "I want to see!!"
Luke: "here"
Ash: "hey I want to see!!"
Luke, Calum and Ashton all crowded around the pictures as Michael wrapped his hands around my waist resting his head on mine.
Cal: "this is wonderful"
Me: "it is"
Ash: "you have a little rockstar"
Me: "possibly"
Michael: "hope our baby gets your looks, darling"
Me: "well then I hope our baby gets your eyes"
Luke: "and the sappy stuffs started"
Cal: "shush Luke it's sweet"
Luke: "your right, Cal"
Ash: "so was this the whole reason of us coming over today?"
Me: "basically. We had the ultrasound this morning and wanted to tell you lot as soon as we could"
We phoned Michaels mum and dad when the boys left to tell them I'm pregnant. They are so happy and excited! They even started crying which made me cry. We also phoned Jack and Ben my brothers to tell them. They were also very happy for us. I facedtimed Anne and Rachael when they were together.
Me: "so...I have to tell you two something"
Anne: "what is it?!"
Me: "IM PREGNANT"
Rachael: "OH MY GOD! AHHHH CONGRATULATIONS"
Anne: "your shitting me?! OMG CONGRATULATIONS!!!"
Me: "thank you!!! I have the ultrasound pictures here, look"
Rachael: "oh my god! I'm so happy for you both!"
Anne: "awwww! This is wonderful!!"
Me: "yeah.. we're very happy"
Michael: "VERY VERY VERY HAPPY"
Me: "as you can tell"
Anne: "I just want to hug you"
Rachael: "and me"
Me: "me too, you can soon because you'll have to fly out when we have a baby shower"
Rachael: "deal"
Anne: "yay! I miss you!"
Me: "I miss you both so much!"
Rachael: "we love you!"
Me: "I love you both!"
